TO WRITE OR NOT TO WRITE WHILE ON HOLIDAY?

I am away from my desk for several weeks during the holidays. How about you? How much of a break have you got between Christmas and the New Year?
Will you write occasionally during this time?
Do you have a plan to produce a certain word count?
I struggle with the idea of putting my pen down for such a long time and have found myself scribbling something every other day.
TomorrowI am hoping to garb an hour away from the family time and the festivities in order to go to one of the few coffee shops open this week, and to get some writing done.
