I beat this boss on my second attempt with Acheron, Welt, Bailu, and March. I had march sheiding Bailu any chance she got so that way bailu could have health and heal people. There was a lot of close calls but it worked at the end. Never faced a much stronger boss like this before.
I did it with fire mc, blade, bronya and luocha. Fire mc and blade were the only ones who survived that fight, and mc was the only one with decent amount of health left while blade literally got down to 1 hp(ended up getting an achievement for it). I knew fire mc and blade arent compatible in team building, but blade had enough health to withstand hits with aoe attack and my fire mc has over 3000 def; I literally put them in the team to be canon fodder for the hits, and they ended up being the only survivors. Watching footage gives me flashbacks on how I was stuck on this fight for AGES!
If you're still quite new try using fire mc or march 7th along with gallagher. it'll take you some time to kill but it's better to kill than to not kill i guess. luocha is good but if your only reason to pull him would be a need for a healer i'd skip him.
Fought him with Fire TB, Serval, Acheron and Bailu. Tricky at first during the second phase. I use Serval and Acheron's skill for the rolls; Bailu's for healing since I know losing is inevitable; and Trailblazer enhanced attack for the rolls with the ULT just in case. In between the next RNG I just attack him with basic attacks and Acheron's ULT. Battle lasted probably longer than it should be but it works
What’s your Clara’s stats, just got her today and built her up but I’m curious how much I gotta invest to see 22k damage on those talent activations. Mine did like 5k😭

I did this with MC Fire (e6), Clara (e1s1), Welt (e0s0), and March 7th (e6) just to stick the same characters in the trailblaze main quest

it should work but your ruan mei might need to be shielded/healed more often

yea it should be fine, as long as you got a healer and shield + aoe attacks you can win

i'd use Pela over Clara. you already have Gallagher to heal and fire mc to take the hits a shield a little. so Pela would be better imo
