  • This was my one and only video and I'm really impressed with it's content from "Our backyard"
It starts with a visit to the bath by a green Painted Bunting and a Red-bellied Woodpecker followed by a number of green Painted Buntings, brown female Indigo Buntings, a Gray Catbird, a few male Painted Buntings and for me, the best of all. A Painted Bunting that has a color mutation and appears to be neither male or a green Painted Bunting.
We had the wonderful luck to meet members of the Martin Co Audubon Society that were involved in a banding study of Painted Buntings migration habits funded through Cornell Ornithological Society.
They managed to capture and band this mutated bird! It is our 63rd Painted Bunting banded here on March 18, 2015
