Love the texture of the bogged, so well made 😍 Do YOU think we should have skeleton > bogged conversion? What about nether skeletons with flaming arrows 🤔
ALSO they attack slightly slower than skeletons, 3.5 seconds compared to 2 seconds. Seemed about the same in game though:)
Subscribe for more Minecraft news! :D
I honestly think so but I also think skeletons in lava should spawn wither skeletons
We have those. They are called blazes.
Yep
Fun fact: on Java, if you make it so a Wither Skeleton is holding a bow, its arrows will automatically be flaming.
But also, do you REALLY want more sources of fire in the Nether? I suppose it would make the Fire Resistance enchantment more useful, but still!
10% chance that a wither skeleton spawns with a bow and just annihilates you with flame _and_ wither because mojang hates us. Also it has like a slightly higher chance of dropping a skull because they don’t hate us _that_ much
1:33 if you spawn a wither skeleton with a bow they'll always shoot flame arrows
I definitely feel like skeletons holding poison arrows was always supposed to be a placeholder because of how weird it looked and how they were harder to tell from a distance, they were probably just working out what it would look like and how their behavior would be different (which is good, the bogged feels more fair with slower attacks and less health due to how annoying poison can be)
Will you be my valentine?
- Shoots me with poison arrows
cupid but horror
This guy looks cooler than the poison skeletons from dungeons. Hopefully we get more mob and trial dungeon variants per dimension in the future to spice things up. An end and nether variant would be really cool with buffed Piglin/Zombie Pigman and Endermen as boss mobs like the breeze and bog.
Frozen creepers, sunken skeletons, icy zombies, piglin fungus throwers, watchlings, snarelings, blastlings, endersent, enchanters, geomancers, iceologers, wind callers, mountaineers, jungle zombies, vanguard skeletons, iceologers, tropical slimes, royal guards, and finally wither skeleton archers would work pretty well in the main game! Hopefully they are added since dungeons was discontinued.
@@rustyshackleford234wow
sure does
this, this is what minecraft needs, more mob variants, we had those snowy cows in windswept peaks, the shield skeletons in the desert temple, etc.
Perfect time for the Zombie Horses to be added to survival? Just like if regular skeletons and horses get struck by lightning it spawns the skeleton horses.
yesss pleaseee
The bogged riding a zombie horse 😱 scary but very cool…
1:51 wither skeletons already shoot fire arrows after picking up dropped bows
Bro will definitely be getting farmed for those arrows 😭😭
implying I don't already have double chests of Wither arrows stocked up =)
Wither Skeletons originally had flame arrows, but the devs changed it since the Blaze already had fireballs as projectiles. They thought to many fire shooters would be unfair to the player.
I love the idea of having an exclusive aggressive mob to swamp biomes, they needed an update since all we got so far were frogs
4:40 But we already can hold arrows in our off-hand in Bedrock Edition
Oh my god. Lately mojang has just been outdoing themselves with these mod - like ideas, and I love it. First armour trims, then wind chrges, now A NEW SKELATON????
Ho ho dont forget the most important, TRIAL CHAMBER
It’s literally just a resprite, the only other coding you have to do is give a poison arrows (which is incredibly easy) and spawn areas(which should be incredibly easy by now). I wish they did something more creative instead.
Yes to conversion and yes to Nether flaming arrows. Also, I've always thought it would be funny if skeletons in snowy biomes threw snowballs - ones with little bits of ice and gravel, of course.
I actually would like if instead of just burning arrows flame skeletons will give you new potion effect, something like Flammable, idk. Because let's be honest, blaze that can set you on fire already huge pain in the back, if we add another mob that can basically instakill you if you don't have totems or fire protection IV will be to much. Players will just stop going into Nether at this point.
But Flammable effect, that will increase damage from fire, or will make it harder to extinguish sounds more balanced, and at the same time more universal (it can be used by players in many scenarios, instead of being just another way to set you on fire)
@@Jedai_Gamesthe problem players have with the nether is that it is too 'easy'. Offers no threat in late game.
Best skelly texture
by far!
Such a nice *valentines day" treat
A annoying retextured skeleton zombie. They’ve lost their mind.
Haya day😂
@@fionalewis6192 no? everyone wanted this
@@fldom4610 well some of yall voted for glow squid so what is there to expect.
@@fionalewis6192 the glow squid was because of dream. Plus still everyone wanted the skeleton and they liked it. Mojang starts to try to fix everything they have done in the past
Re: Skeletons shooting Fire arrows. If you use commands to summon a wither skeleton and give them a bow, on Java Edition they will always shoot fire arrows. I think this is because in their development, they were toying with the idea of having wither skeletons be ranged mobs. But if they're going to spawn in the Nether Fortress, there was already a mob with a fiery ranged attack. My personal theory.
Bedrock does have offhand for holding arrows though.
shhhh let us have this
Wow 😲
I think mojang should add more varients like this for more mobs
Oh those fothermuckers, I love when they do that and give us something outta nowhere. And yes, Silent, it makes a lot a sense to convert skellis into bogged if we sink them in water.
Love ya SIlent, but Soul Sand Valleys are bad enough without flame arrows LOL
These Skeletons are a recreation of the Mossy Skeletons from Minecraft Dungeons.
As much as I want conversion, I also don't really like the idea of every skeleton that ends up in a river suddenly shooting poison arrows. Maybe they could add a new sort of mud that works like powdered snow so you slowly sink into it and that could be the conversion. This would also present the opportunity for a second block to reset fall damage and align items from a dropper.
Quicksand! The perfect addition to swamps
@@tigerofdoom Yeah, that was basically the idea. Maybe the mechanics could be different than actual powdered snow and more like trying to swim in lava where everything is super slow. Definitely would be cool to have something similar to powdered snow that won't melt from fire regardless. It could possibly even be generated by a player by applying a second bottle of water to mud.
Checking them out, it looked to me like they actually shoot a little slower than regular skeletons.
it is clarified in the changelog
seemed similar speeds to me:3
Yea normal skeleton shoot every 2 second but bog 3-3.5 second
Recently scientist found a frog with a mushroom growing out of it. The study was observation only, so no dissection to find out how that was possible.
I would say nether skeletons should shoot slowness arrows cause of the soul sand that slow you down, but strays already do the job. So i would like to see skeletons with blindness arrows. The soul sand valley, for me, is the saddest biome, so blindness would make sense, like if you was lost, amd skeletons probably would hit more arrows on you.
Sorry for any mistakes
I love this new mob, I could play it in the java snapshots I installed but there wasn't an option in the bedrock edition experiments menu
cool new mob, even if poison is pain
ive been a big fan of all the skeletons in minecraft and this has made my day (although they are the reasons i die alot in my plays)
Welp. . . I'm not entering a swamp at night anymore.
I hope we get more neat stuff like this in 1.21 and the future! I think it would be really good for exploration to see more special mobs for each biome!
We need a Bog Biome, if we get that then there’s an easy fix for how to convert skeletons into Bogged:
Bogs Irl have one big mat of something called Sphagnum moss instead of solid ground, and in the thinner spots it’s entirely possible to sink through into the water beneath
The closest thing I can think of is suffocating them in mud blocks or moss blocks.
@@Magicwaterz how about a ‘Sphagnum Moss’ block variant that suddenly acts similarly to Powdered Snow blocks if it’s waterlogged?
@@arlen7726 Yeah, but we have to assume that they don't add those yet. Suffocation via moss blocks is the closest, so when they do add it, this option will be done.
I'm surprised a lot of people did not know that you can never drown skeletons at all which makes sense for them to assume that trying to drown them to be converted is the first thing they wanna check.
about the theory with the bedrock offhand, surprisingly an arrow is one of the things you CAN put in your offhand
shhhhh we rollin with it:3
I think they are going to make it change to a bogged in water. Plus this update isn't even finished yet.
Hopefully they add the liquid mud from Minecraft earth
I mean they havent finished an update for four years
In bedrock you can hold arrows in your off-hand, however I don’t think there’s any way to spawn in mobs with items in their off-hand on bedrock, and that’s why we got the new mob.
The Bogged is a great new mob. I think they would be perfect to be added in jungles as well. Also a new skeleton mob that shoots flame arrows in the nether could be charred, The Scorcher. And finally looting works on the Breeze.
I'm for bogged conversion just don't know if water would be the best choice, maybe a new item or block of sorts that could also convert horses into zombie horses
@silent I like your flame skelly idea for the nether but they need to fix that nether spawn rate on bedrock first as the soil sand valley is already a death trap
Silent: "Shouldn't nether skeletons always shoot flame arrows?"
Me: "Hahaha... (shift to serious demeanor) you'd better hope that doesn't happen, or else it will be easier to find where YOU live than to traverse the nether... and I've got to do something with my free time, right?"
Love ya Silent, but please stop telling Mojang how to make our lives harder!!!
Should make a tipped arrow skelly and zombie version of every village type.
1:52 uuuu ya you have a good idea
I'm thinking of a new origin story for the Blaze. Skeletons in the Nether are already evil. But eventually they become even more corrupted as they embrace the fire. Their arm and leg bones becoming the circling sticks of the blaze.
Like zombies can turn into drowned under water. What process would be interesting to turn a skelly into a blaze?
Damn posion arrow farms are gonna be lit
I did not know you could convert a husk into a zombie via water 😮
Cool, but we knew this was coming, I really hope they go back to surprising us with new details. The update is still feeling pretty small. I’d be totally satisfied if they also added copper/tuff golem and the sniffer flower for walls
It's cool, but being swamp specific, you'd think they'd choose a different effect to the other biome specific hostile mob, witches (poison effect).
well I mean Boggeds aren't technically the "watery version" of skeletons so that's why no conversion and the Boggeds are the Mossy Skeleton from Dungeons so technically they're the "poison, lush, overgrown version"
Hey, I don't know if the bug is new or not since I haven't found anything about it, but I recently went onto my roughly 3 year old bedrock minecraft world and it seems that my player data was reset or more than likely it considers me as a new member of the world since I cannot change the difficulty or anything like that and I spawned at world spawn with nothing.
amazing! now we have the husk, drowned and zombie, then the bogged, skeleton, and stray ( wither skeleton does not count )
Idk if water should convert skeletons to boggeds, I do agree there should be a way and I think there should be a way to convert drowneds to zombies and zombies and zombies to husks.
In my opinion if water does convert them, it only does so in swamp type biomes because the water is muddy in these biomes
Hey IDK if you know this already but if you eat it can move you and even phase you threw walls
When have 3 main zombie & now skeleton variants. Now we need CREEPER variants. May I suggest a desert variant that s sandy colored, ½ explosive power.
Imagine them throwing sand in the air when they explode. Sounds fun.
There could be a new block in the offing to convert the skeletons into bogged. Like a quick sand.....
You can replace the scaffolding in your mob farm with unlit candle it's better for me since I don't have access to scaffolding pls make a design with it !!
It's a great mob. Now it's the chance for Mojang to add swamp water that transform common skeletons to bogged ones.
0:47 I'm confused I guess. Xisumavoid says that they shoot slower at every 3.9 sec vs every 2 seconds a regular skeleton shoots at?
ye they shoot slower, it just seemed the same in game
Do sand dupers work on bedrock, I’ve seen simulation distance ones but I don’t want to waste my time, working on a bedrock perimeter
I was hoping for the Mossy Skeletons from Minecraft Dungeons for the Poison Skeleton variant, but hey, this is the closest we will get to having a Poison Skeleton in the game.
What do you mean by "closest"? It IS a poison skeleton.
This mob is fantastic
Create a video of a bamboo farm with a super smelter at the bottom of the bamboo farm.
If they change nether skeletons i thnkk them shooting soul flame arrows would be a better fit than normal flame arrows, but i do think that rather than make that i think that making trial dungeons spawn in all dimension would be a much better fit, imagin the trial dungeon having the normal mibs in the overworld, nether mobs in the nether and be mostly endermen on the end, i also tgink that the tuff bricks should be replaced with the type of brick of the dimension they are in, blackstonebricks in the nether and endsrone bricks in the end. I particularly like this idea because the nether skeletons that shoot soul flame could be called the soulless and be simeler to wither skeletons
What if they are adding poison as a liquid? One to be used to turn skeletons into the bogged, and two to put in the trial chambers?
we have that with cauldrons:)
This will make my life a living hell when trying to get a mending villager but I’m sure someone will make a bogged farm
THE BOGGED SKELETON REMINDS ME OF THE MOSSY SKELETON IN MINECRAFT DUNGEONS 🤯
0:00 didn't know it was. I've been single forever.😂
Is your 24 stacked raid farm still works in minecraft bedrock 1.20+
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Next they'll introduce a mob that just sucker punches you
Bogged is from minecraft dungeons. In the jungle map there skeletons that shoot poison arrows at players.
No, they’re moss skeletons, this is especially the same concept but different texture and name.
@@jonasg.bisgaard1086
They are basically the same. Texture wise... Minecraft has updated textures before... It's a skeleton that shoots poison arrows... They look 80% the same and act 100% the same.
@@ShinyMooTank No they don't.
Mossy Skeleton's texture is just a regular Minecraft Dungeons Skeleton texture with moss on top of it, and that's it.
Bogged's texture includes actual greenish bones, white eyes, mushrooms and *NOT moss* but bogs and mud on them almost acting like a cloak.
Behaviorally not the case either, Mossy Skeletons don't have a lower HP and 1.75x slower attack speed compared to their normal counterpart in Dungeons, unlike Boggeds.
The only thing these 2 have in common is that they shoot poison arrows and more green than usual, everything else like the detail and stats are different, it's not a unique idea anyway so it's bound to be similar as a given.
@@user-tzzglsstle585e38
Mossy skeleton vs bogged skeleton
Both mossy textures
Both green
Both skeleton
Both shoot poison arrows
Its literally a mossy skeleton with a newer texture and less generic name.
You can't compare stats directly to minecraft dungeons to regular minecraft. That game allows for stupid and overpowered combinations. You can have armor with dodge, protection, deflect and the game allows you to stack these enchants up to 4 times. You can have armor that makes you immune to all physical attacks if you get protection or dodge on the base armor and in all 3 enchantment slots...
@@ShinyMooTank That's why I compared their stats relative to their own counterparts of their respective game.
Regular Dungeons Skeleton have the exact same stats as Mossy Skeleton, which is not the case in vanilla.
Also, no Bogged doesn't have as much moss in them (if at all because those green things on its shoulders aren't moss, but bog), nor does Mossy Skeleton have green bones.
This matters because this determines how well Bogged would fit in Jungles, and the way they look right now-- they don't fit Jungles at all because Jungles don't have excess water and mud generating in it.
Also, Mossy Skeletons spawn on Jungles, not Swamps despite Dungeons having a Swamp level...
Is this gonna be an elemental update? That would actually be really cool
I feel like “new” should be in quotation marks. Cool variation though!
They fire slower than normal skeletons and they only have 16 hit points. It's in the release notes.
ye those released after i was done with the video i think lol. didn't see em until after i posted:)
I love these updates but when will the whole trident falling through the world bug ever be fixed. Nothing like turning on a farm to just watch mobs look like they are riding in a washing machine.
I like these little additions to an existing mob
Silentwhisper is like the Neither is not hard enough. Let's add 🔥 shooting skeletons!
Technically those exist, wither skeletons always shoot fire arrows when given a bow for some reason
Love you bro ❤
Should have small drop chance for brown and red mushrooms from their heads.
I've missed that outro 😂
I can't wait to die to a bogged with a power 5 flame bow...
dont think they can spawn with a power level that high. its capped at like 2-3
Holy sht I hope their bows don't roll flame...
@silentwisperer oh that's interesting I didn't know that. I feel like the poison/fire combo would still be pretty deady although rare enough to not be a big problem. I'm fairly excited for the mob hopefully it means they'll add even more biome variants at some point too
Skeletons shooting flame arrows in the Nether? Haha, no thanks. Already have to contend with flame projectiles from Blazes! XD
When the update coming out for bedrock fully?
At the same time as in Java
"and then there was silence" Im on to you. I have to watch every video to the end to see if you say it.
3:00 can you turn a bogged into a stray?
Silent make a tutorial on reducing lag pls
i have a video on that:)

Now the Bog brothers are in minecraft too 💀

I won't lie, I actually hope this guy has a bit less health, skeletons are really deadly already XDD
Loved the texture, the newer mobs have such a great art

2:35 i disagree there, why? Cause i want the Sunken Skeletons of MCD to come to vanilla minecraft those should be the ones that what skeletons turn into in the water.
Bogged farm when? :D
Great, now its even more of a pain to get the villager that you need.

easy solution, sleep.
@@silentwisperer True, and you would probably have some sort of shelter for villager breeding. I can just imagine it'd be a quite a bit more annoying to access.

good idea:D
