I am old enough to be their mom. I am a retired veteran and former law enforcement officer. I am the child of a functioning alcoholic mother who tried to self medicate her problems away. I believe in taking responsibility for your actions. I also, believe in helping those who need support with mental health issues. Ilhoon was struggling with crushing anxiety on his own. He is a very private person who tried to cope without worrying his band brothers. Sadly, he made a mistake. He told the truth to authorities when questioned. He is taking the punishment like a man. I hope he gets the help and counseling he needs while incarcerated and after release. When he is ready, Melodies will welcome him back with love and support. BTOB forever 7️⃣

They love and care for each other so much, that even Ilhoon or anyone who is not around in a certain performance, the people who is present didn't forget to mentioned them and wishing them well. I know this is 6months late but just wanted to say... what they did to Ilhoon is UNFAIR.. Im not justifying that him doing drugs is just simple and easily forgivable and justifiable.. Its just that Korean justice system is fucked up. They sentenced him 2yrs in prison and even recieved tons of hate when tons of other idols who had way way worse scandals than him didnt even experienced the taste of punishments they totally deserved! Like Bullying scandals, sexual assaults... especially those idols who are proven guilty in bullying scandals.. honeslty most of them easily got away with what they did and even got back to being an idol easily without any hate and even gained more supporters..like wtf? the thing is Hanbin (B.I) did get so much hate when the news broke out. He was even supposed to have a sentence of 3 years in prison but later on ended up being on a probation for 4 years and that's when he got a bit of sympathy from some knetz because they compared it to a senior from the same company as him who did much more horrible things but only given a 3 year sentence but ofc there were still some hating on him but he pushed through and is now a successful soloist and he deserves that for his talent. With Ilhoon's case, yeah that's kind of sad but tbh I can actually see him coming back from the group. Aside from the numerous evidences that he's still in contact with them and he's still even on their btob gc (well he's with them for more than 10 years, he and Sungjae basically grew up with their hyungs raising them so can't blame them) He's very well-loved by international fans, most of the haters I see are either trolls are they're just completely close-minded. Even some koreans are starting to become braver with their love for Ilhoon. They even mentioned his name in their missing you fanchant in their pretty recent performance. I believe that as time goes by, more people will accept him and he can eventually come back in the group. After all he's still in cube. If he didn't end up going back then I'm just wishing him all the best. He's such a great guy and does not deserved to be judge by a single mistake which he owned and admitted and said sorry lots of times.
