I’m surprised that they showed one of Tre White’s not-called DPIs. There were quite a few of them tbh. Horribly officiated.

Nope, Looking for the ball and being mutually physical with a reciever is not DPI, I believe that second clip couldve gone either way. But Tre played amazing and made a bunch of plays. He held the fastest player in the nfl to less than 70 yards, which is very impressive for a player fresh off an ACL tear.
in regards to the pulling on the jersey pocket on the slant, this was caused by a forced break on the route. You can see on the initial cut, Tre preemptively jams reek when he slowed down in order to negate an opportunity to cut inside, Reek countered the jam and still cut inside. Tight coverage, Tua didnt need to throw that. This is a perfect example of mutual physicality.
@@kairo6754 Blatantly incorrect. Tre’s contact significantly hindered the receiver while the ball was in the air.
Classic DPI on a slant route is evidenced by the DB’s arm wrapping around the torso of the receiver, which is seen on the subject play. It’s also obvious that Tre used this contact to pull himself closer to the ball/receiver and pull the receiver away from the ball.
Good corner or not, this was bad technique and he got away with it.

Unbelievable what they let the Bills db’s get away with. Well, not unbelievable actually. And that flop by Allen was pathetic but knowing how they call anything against the Dolphins, he knew it would work, and it did. Pretty pathetic tho for someone of his talent to do. The Bills didn’t cover so the refs probably won’t get paid now.
