Manchester’s famous Shady Glen celebrating 75 years of business

For the past 75 years, things have been tastefully done at Shady Glen in Manchester. The family-owned restaurant is celebrating three-quarters of a century in business after finishing off a busy holiday run, where their signature “Golden Crown” Cheeseburgers and homemade ice cream, among other popular menu items, kept customers happy.
Billy Hoch, who owns Shady Glen with his wife Amy, is the fourth generation at Shady Glen; he began work at his family’s restaurant in 1973.
