I think you should do the forrest with three trees. And I would also like to say that I enjoy if you really finish all filmed projects with planting/potting up. You say "I won't bore you with that!". It is not boring at all. It is informative. ☺
Thanks! 2 and 3 got about the same number of votes, but the feeling for 2 is stronger. So I will do two for now. When I have a compatible juniper, I will add to make it three…This way to provide us a learning opportunity.
I like the arrangement of three trees. The smaller tree seems to be farther away and gives the entire composition the illusion of more depth. The implied path between the middle tree and the smallest tree pulls me into the forest. Whatever you choose to do will be beautiful and intriguing. A slate slab would take it to the next level.
In my opinion, the three tree design elevates the quality of all three trees. Even the tree on the right that you are not so fond of. The whole is greater than the sum of it's parts. Your idea of using slate is amazing! I think it might even be better with some added features between two of the trees like rock or driftwood. I don't know, maybe it just looks good in my head. Haha. Good luck and thank you.
Although I like the three tree design idea, I think you are right going with just two. Maybe add some rock to the duo. Use that 3rd one for a grouping of 3, with younger ones. I’d love to have your available nearby sources for materials. TWO - this time.
What about keeping the third somehow behind the two? It's thinner trunk would provide more depth to the composition, not so if placed side by side as you correctly prefer to avoid.
I wil likely do two and add a third one with synergism later. The third tree jsut does not have the mature look to downgrade the two. Also, clumps likes to be similar, whereas forest diverse. Clumb by defintion grows at about the same rate at the same plac.
Nice work on this tree. Clip and grow is the way to go. I like the 3 over the 2, but just my opinion. As I was always taught, you are the creator and your vision is what counts. Either way you do it will be a work of art.
I am with you on planting the two Junipers instead of the three the smaller tree is really out of place, it’s obliviously too thin and young looking and is too straight and lacks character compared to the others. Thanks for your video Milton.
First, I liked the three, then when you made it two, it did look classy at first, but then it started looking a little cutesy and contrived, in my opinion. I vote that you go with your original intention to make it a group planting or a clump. Going with two would be neither.
Use the three. Sure the two show more age and look good together, but the third emphasizes this. Also you go to any wild setting and you see. Old trees and young trees.
Shari describes deadwood in the trunk, Jin is a dead branch and Uro is the hollow wound where the tree healed itself. I am not aware of an own word for deadwood on roots
In my opinion, trees should only be presented together if they complement each other. However, these trees each have so much character that they compete with each other instead of forming a harmony. It's simply too much and I think it would be a waste to plant them together. Personally, I would prefer them as solitary trees. If at all, then at most the two of the three that complement each other reasonably well, but by no means all three together.

I like the 3
Thanks for your input.
I vote for 2 trees
Right!
2!🎉
Thanks!
2 for sure!
Definitely 2!
Agreed!
Three. Makes a great grouping.
Stay tunde...add at a later date.
I Vote 3
🏆
thanks!
Definitely go for three. Three trees in a group looks more natural than two.
I will ad one of the comparabe stature later. thasnk!
I think your right , I say two🇨🇦
agree!
Go for two!
I do like the three together, but the two larger trees look good together, and the smaller one makes a nice literati by itself.
Definitely like the two together!
Three please
OK...I will add at a later date. Stay tuned.
3
thanks...will add later.

Thanks for the thoughtful suggestion!
I love your style beautiful! three looks great and shows nature loves little guy with big brother guiding growth.
I like the 3 but understand the difference between it and theothers
Yes definitely three
I will add one in the future when I have the right tree. Thanks
2 trees 👍
I agree!
I think each tree is so dynamic on its own that they should be grown as three separate trees.
That is another option. Thanks for the suggestion
I like the three tree clumps!
Agree...if I have the right three trees. This one is too skimpy
It’s a very nice piece of material to work with.
Yes, I like juniper bonsai. I wil do tow this week and next week (got from acution) that will "blow your mind!) Stay tuned.
I really like all 3. And seeing how you pot them helps me as a newbie.
I will add one in the future when I have the right tree. Thanks
I like the three. One is just younger.
2 trees
agree!
Two will be nice

OK...adding rock is easier said than done. When done right, with rock that rhymes, wonderful....Just add a rock often ugh!
I like the three 👍
Thank for your opinion. Helps. Crowd sourcing!

Yes...keep it distant.
I like 3! 😁
I would do the two. The smaller one just doesn’t seem to belong.
Agree!
You win both ways. Two trees look great as well as three trees.
I wil likely do two and add a third one with synergism later. The third tree jsut does not have the mature look to downgrade the two. Also, clumps likes to be similar, whereas forest diverse. Clumb by defintion grows at about the same rate at the same plac.
Hi Milton I agree with you two is better
right 😇
Great tree's and very good material - I'd go for a twin trunk concept and a single other tree
I really like the 3.
In the future...Ii will defiitely add...I have a couple in the the garden
Agree, go with the 2.
Nice work on this tree. Clip and grow is the way to go. I like the 3 over the 2, but just my opinion. As I was always taught, you are the creator and your vision is what counts. Either way you do it will be a work of art.
Thanks for your understanding!
I like the two looks lot better love your videos I like to see how you create lots more movement on tracks thanks
I agree!
Three shows balance to me.
some would agree
Un grand merci à vous pour la vidéo!
merci
The tree in my eyes is better cause the 3 have a different age appearance which makes it look so natural cheers mate
In a forest, yes...in a clump need to be comparable...I think

I agree!
I think the two
I think the 3 look better, 2 look good but a prefer the 3
Two is good but three is better 100%
Very nice

Will be better than thanks Milton keep up the good work mate
Thank you kindly!
Definitely two, with a rock wall/cliff.
That's a thought!
Wing It Dr Chang style! as stated, there is NO wrong way in the world of Bonsai Heirloom!
You've got it!
2
Agreed!
Two trees
Agree!
Do three. People are more attracted to odd numbers. And the other tree looked good together.
I will add a good one of comparable stature in the future...living art!
3. The trinity. Can't go wrong with 3! Good job by the way. I enjoy your videos. You make it look easy.
t is!😇...Thanks!
Use the three. Sure the two show more age and look good together, but the third emphasizes this. Also you go to any wild setting and you see. Old trees and young trees.
True!
Once you took away that third younger tree, the two really jumped out. Go with the two.
I see the same! thanks!
Uese all three with the small slightly behind and betweenthe other two as if were a younger child tree
OK...I will add one with similar stature at a later date. Stay tuned.
Shari describes deadwood in the trunk, Jin is a dead branch and Uro is the hollow wound where the tree healed itself.

I feel the same...I will add on of similar stature...then it will look wonderful
I sent you an email two days ago. 😉
I thought 3 all the way til you removed 1..
2 trees now
😇 bonsai,..often less is more!
do three or make them separate.
OK...I will add one with similar stature at a later date. Stay tuned.
Thanks for doing these videos @@MiltonChang-ee6rq
👍👌🙂
Three separate trees. A waste to put three excellent trees into one group
Wait until you see three great trees...That would really stand out!
2 :)
Any update ?
You are a sculptor just doing it with living plants
That is the nicest complement iI have ever gotten. Thanks!
3
OK...I will add at a later date. Stay tuned.
