I had to look up what a "Trading Estate" was. Being in the US, I didn't know what it was. We call it a "Strip Mall". But then I realized both are just as bad to define what they are if you didn't know already. Great video! Edit: I think it also can be called an 'Business Park' in the US.
@@fuzzelf Thanks for lookin' that up for us all. I would've been quite lost without it and too lazy to find out myself.I'm from Australia and we don't really use either term here but at least I've heard the term strip mall before.
Video #1: As someone already mentioned, that seal around the fat trap isn't right. Trap size definitely needs changing - also a bit of washing up liquid wouldn't go a miss! Video #2: Well done in clearing this, and thanks for helping the tanker driver, bless him! Video #3: That place looks haunted! Clear it and get out. Lol. Well done guys - great work!! 💪👍
We have told them the seals are not right, they traps are way to small, Thanks, The place is haunted by the ghost of badly added on drainage, im currently editing another video at the last site im hoping to get it uploaded for 22/08/2024.
Just subscribed, your video came up and your accent seemed familiar. Watched to end and recognised that route out of my home city 😮😅 Aqua Sulis. Will be checking out your back catalogue 😊
Your filming is great 👍 I particularly enjoyed that second job at the industrial park. I don’t know what a council is, but maybe they could give legitimate repair businesses a placard for the vehicle that exempts them from the rule, especially if you have to run jetting hoses from the van.
Thank you for watching and for being a member I really appreciate it 👍 im glad we managed to get a tanker to the 2nd job in time for me to film it, they should have something like that apparently there is a barrier with an intercom on it somewhere to get in its just knowing where to go and them actually letting us through can sometimes be a problem as well.
The gasket on that grease trap doesn’t seal around the entire lid… it drops down at the trap outlet leaving a gap under the lid. When the outlet pipe was plugged, the incoming water to the trap was more than could be released and overflowed where the gasket was missing… 🤷♂️
On the restaurant drains what I would do is leave a camera and a clock go around flush toilets. Note the time when you flush and note the water movement. It should be able to identify what drain that is.
I did a job in a creepy old basement, we were trying to guess what it was built for it was a long brick built room with two chairs at the end, after we finished the job i was chatting to a bike repair shop next door he told me it was an old rifle range
Who ever owns that commercial park needs to really invest in proper sewage system for that place if someone is going to be stupid enough to pour paint down the drains but it seems the septic tank isnt great either if it keeps filling up. Is it even connected to the utility mains? Because if it really is just connected to a drain field that's an absolute disgrace imo tbh
Need to get ur boss to get u a portable jetter one that runs on electric & on a cart like kransten has so he can jet in office buildings. Useful piece of kit no fumes & can go anywhere. Never understood why builders cover over acces points or maintenance covers like what goes threw there heads ohh they will never need to get in there. Have a good weekend 😂
You must be very tall to be able to straddle and lift such big manhole covers. I'm guessing 6'4" (or around 195cm). I'm terrible at math... Please don't judge me 😅

@@Doc_Fartens Now I'm curious, what do you call it in Australia?
I didn't even realise it was called something else in the US or Australia, I want to know as well what do you call them
@@Keep_itflowing Middle of Canada a trading estate is an "industrial park".
Great video!

always love the non hazardous sign on the tankers, i'm sorry but 1000 gallons of pee and poo is a hazard to me 💩🤣
😂

we have suggested new seals to them but you know what its like they just ignore recommendations like this
bit of a novelty the pry bar being used for its proper use 😜
was the screwdrivers turn for bit swimming
weird isn't it I feel like I was using it wrong
That is some old architecture at that last site. Any idea how far back that building dates to?
I was only wondering how soon the vac tank was gonna top up. Easy estimation it would fill, and then some
👍
Another interesting collection of jobs
Thanks for watching
On the restaurant drains what I would do is leave a camera and a clock go around flush toilets. Note the time when you flush and note the water movement. It should be able to identify what drain that is.
And a heavy duty plastic bag to put your plungers in as you walk through the restaurant.
thats a good idea especially as in videoing it anyway
On that grease trap if they skim off the grease and pump it down the see that those panels have holes in them. Need to clean those better.
👍
that kitchen in underground vault is mad! whats the craziest place you ever been to unblock a drain?

there some old interesting buildings round bristol for sure! 👍
I know and all there are alway some I have never noticed and iv been here all my life.
@21:20...I'm pretty sure everyone within 100 yards can hear that beeper when this dude backs up, what do you think??? 😳
I have no idea why it needs to be so loud 🤣
I wonder what the vaults were originally?
Bath is full of them they are everywhere I would love to know
Grease traps have a smell all their own.
They are definitely the worst one
Yes, I can imagine, I was thinking to myself...I bet that stinks to high heaven, uggggh! 😳🤢🤮
You get use to it but its the hardest one

I know they really need to get that tank sorted out we suggested put a big pump chamber in and het it connected to the mains which isnt to far away

it would be handy, I think they do it because its not there problem they are not going to be the ones out at 2am trying to unblock a flooding drain.
How does the 1st place get their grease trap emptied
There are specialist companies that empty grease traps.
We empty grease traps 👍 we do this one when the kitchen is closed and we put a pipe through from our tanker they have 3 of these

Im about 6' :)
Why do customers lie, knowing they’d be found out! 🙄
I don't get why they do it?
Who’s Clare?
