Yeah I love my Honda Navi. Just passed 100 miles on it and live in the country. Just zipping around the neighborhood or going to the gas station near by. There is a beautiful road that passes farm life, old barns, ponds and rivers. Just perfect to cost down jamming my mini speaker to rock tunes.
I've got one, you're definitely not going to get 130mpg, haha. Its closer to 60-90 or so. You have to keep in mind the tank also only hold 0.9 gallons.
@@TotemoGaijin That's probably true since motor companies tend to exaggerate their MPG on their vehicles. The Metropolitan was carbureted and got 70 MPG at full throttle. But still 60 to 90 MPG is still very practical.
@@blackflyingfox3365 Though, you know, they still make Metros too since you said how much you miss yours. I considered one since I like the classic look, but its hard to say no to the Navi when you're getting more power for less money.
I love mine Navi. Its fun and awesome town bike. Ruckus is twice the price and its slower and does not have compartments. This is one of my 3 motorcycle that I currently own - Road Glide + Breakout.
You really have to lower your expectations while reviewing a $2k scooter. For the money you get Honda quality and warranty, decent mileage and the “tiny” storage compartment holds 25 cans of Labatts (or Coors in Colorado😂). Plus this little bike puts a smile on my face every time I ride mine. Spend an extra $2k+ if you want a real mini moto. As long as you are having fun, eh?
That’s the dilemma with this bike! Maybe they shouldn’t have bothered to make it? I think if it was marketed as a scooter it would hit the mark, the real issue is calling it a motorcycle. But yes as long as you enjoy it, great!
@@PinkOrangeProductions I am glad they made it! My dealer can’t keep them on the floor. What’s funny is that I have been riding all kinds of motorcycles since the 80’s and this simple little scooter is just so fun to zip around on 😃
@@PinkOrangeProductions I have been thinking about it and I will now call it a big scooter😂. I think Honda has to market it as a motorcycle because you need a motorcycle license to drive one (at least in the US).

Umm I’m comparing it to a GROM which is by no means “crazy and be all balls out” lol, this is an honest review. I completely agree make up your own mind, but I’ve driven 100 or motorcycles, if you haven’t, my opinion may have value
A few things you missed the Navi is actually bigger than a Grom , once broke-in mine well do 53-54 mph I am 240lbs extremely close to the Groms top end . Grom owners always spend $1000. In extra bling . Rolling Wrench now has a adjustable CDI and stock coil delete for $200. That lets you determine the top RPM. and of course the Grom is very close to double the OTD cost . The Navi now has lots of performance mods . Dear I say a great city bike and easier to drive that a bicycle . Insurance was very cheap, extremely low maintenance cost . So if I had a choice of Navi a bicycle or the bus . Navi wins every time . A better comparison would be the new XR150L Still cheaper than the Grom as fast as the Grom full size motorcycle plush suspension and a crazy comfortable seat a dual sport bike . But a bare bones , no gas gauge , no center stand , no Kickstart , no RPM gauge. I own a Navi , a XR150L , a GL1800 Love each one equally after all there Honda's. I also suspect I will be dead before any of this motorcycles .
What's awesome about Maryland, is that aren't under the delusion that every motorcyclist on the road is licensed. They know better, and just really want people licensed. So they literally have a fast track program that allows you to walk in and take both the knowledge test and skills test same day.
Its not as cool as the grom but its basically half the price. Its less money than the ruckus, im surprised you like the ruckus more since the navi is like a ruckus with a bigger engine and cheaper. I owned a lot of cheap scooters and bikes and the navi is significantly better built. I really recommended them as the #1 scooter unless you need 300cc+ for the highway.
