Paul is the only celebrity whose being seems near-mythological to me. I feel like I'm sharing a timeline with a musical extraordinaire in the vain of Mozart or Beethoven. It's a blessing to have him still around, sharing his stories with the world. What's even nuttier is that he's STILL making great music, and he doesn't look like he's slowing down soon either!

Paul McCartney is my hero. I was 14 when he with the Beatles changed music and my life for the better. I still have my first Beatles 45 record, “I Want To Hold Your Hand. The following British Invasion played the soundtrack for my youth and life. I’m an old man now, a bit younger than Paul and in my retirement, I’ve taken my musical abilities, as modest as they are, and have begun to compose, play, sing, record and produce my own music, like Paul, only in the sense that I play all the instruments and do all the production myself. When people ask me what my goal is in doing so, I tell them that I want to compose a song so beautiful that Paul McCartney will want to cover it. Te amo senor McCartney!

This must be the only interview, ever, where he has a chance to talk about his creative process. So much better than the usual boring questions. Paul is the greatest musical genius of our time. These words from him are going to be exceptionally important, both for future songwriters and students of the great man. Like Shakespeare or Dickens, Paul is a talent of historical significance.

The background, his own office, rather than some jumped up arty set, showcases his beautiful taste. Warm colours, art work and instruments, very earthy. The video and sound quality are superb. The interviewer a pseudo intellectual is nonetheless quite warm with better than normal questions, albeit long winded. Overall this is one of Paul's best interviews.

I don't tend to be keen on superlatives,
but this is probably the greatest
    and profoundest interview,
I've ever had the pleasure to witness.
All sensible, wise and appropriate questions
that gave Mr. McCartney the opportunity
    to utter marvellously insightful answers.
It happens to me that I tear up with good music.
But with an interview - this was the first time.
If there was a Nobel prize for interviewers,
Mr. Howe would be a laureate, for sure.
    So thank you both warmly
    for this meaningful conversation.
And congratulations to you, Sir Paul,
for being No.1 with your new album in:
    * UK, Netherlands and Germany *, so far.
May the rest of the world follow soon.
    You more than deserve it.
Thank you for being available for mankind
    in this difficult time.

Upon reflection, the two people that steered the group towards dissolution were Ono and Klein. In retrospect, it was a good idea. They finished their trip with " Abbey Road " and went their separate ways. One of Paul's best songs of his post-Beatle career was " Maybe I'm Amazed. " The term ' genius ' is used much too often, but I would ascribe the accolade of ' superb songwriter ' to him. His vocal ability coupled with his extraordinary melodic sense has stood the test of time, again and again. His talent has moved the minds and hearts of millions. Bless him!

Really good quality I found the natural rapport between the excellent interviewer and Paul so revealing. This is the best I've ever heard with Paul in fact becauseI watch one on BBC one earlier and I don't want to be disrespectful but it wasn't a patch. Unfortunately I've got to go to bed it's so I listen to the last 20-minutes tomorrow and also with a reinvigorated interest McCartney 3. The interview it's a great insight to the social and personal man...
