      Yes, stay serious, Freddy. I’m an old man with a clarinet jones but the bottom half of the body is working everyday.. Musician to musician, Freddy, this cajon thing is very impressive.

    Thank you so much Sir,
    I consider this video is my starting groove guide for cajon. I am a tabla player [I hope you know tabla] and recently started laying cajon.
    Loved the way how you have formulated the grooves with formula. looking forward to more such grooves in your upcoming videos

    I've been practicing every day for a week now by rewatching your video and playing along. In the beginning I'd get confused within the fist bar, but now I can play a couple without mistakes, even for beat #5 :-)

    I've been playing cajon for multiple years now after switching from drums. Being self taught I didn't know common technique, I play exclusively with right hand as bass and left as snare, using rudiments to create ghost notes on snare. Why's no one else play it this way?

    • @CajonMaster
      @CajonMaster  3 года назад

      Hi Noah, thanks for you comment. There is not a right or wrong way. If it feels good for you playing like that, great! I'm always trying to learn and practice different techniques and I highly suggest all my students to do so. This will for sure give you more options. Try it and let me know if it works for you, thanks again ;)

    High there, what is the BPM in the the slow version?

    • @CajonMaster
      @CajonMaster  4 года назад +1

      Hi Federica, I’m not using metronome for this video but I suggest you start at 60bpm or slower if 60 is too fast for you. If you integrate these grooves well in a slow tempo it will be easier to play faster after.
