I honestly at first thought that the Carlotta story was 7.0 or 7.5/10, but after having some time to reflect upon it, I realized it was way better than I thought and actually would give it solid 8.5/10 now. The start was not the strongest part of the story and there was alot of talking, but it was actually a pretty meaningful talking, especially when you take into consideration that this was more of a "Mafia/spy" theme story. I also think Carlottas personal struggles were presented very well and made me actually connect and feel for her. Her father was also a breathe of fresh air from the stereotypical american cinema "cold and hardened godfather/mob boss". I honestly think it was better than Camellya story, because it way more showed us why Carlotta behaves the way she does and overall showed us a deeper side of her.
Agree, Carlotta quest starts off pretty cliche with mafia things with her Uncle who is clearly obvious is the villain in the first glance, but then after Carlotta entered the mirror, things getting much more interested and completely different vibe from the first half
