It doesnt even look like it has buttons of any kind for a strap probably to make sure people dont even try to play it standing up. Because if it is as heavy as portrayed in this video i couldnt imagine playing it while standing up for any real length of time.

Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI).
Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy.
Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI).
Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning!
Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures.
Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement.
It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them.

Im sure it has nothing to do with pick ups, amps/modelling tools, speakers, mixing, effects pedals, EQ etc... :)
@@porkypile body material genuinely changes sound. With the exact same settings, a guitar made of oak and a guitar made of mahogany or metal or glass would sound entirely different as the pickups are picking up the vibrations created by the string and the vibrations moving through the bodywork, vibrations move through the bodywork make for different frequencies and sounds.
A mahogany wood electric, sounds a lot warmer/softer compared to a standard oak guitar because mahogany as a material is generally a much softer wood. Pickups working the way they do are exactly why an electric’s bodywork is important.
I showed this to my grandpa and he said “their making guitars out anything today aren’t they” made my day.

You’ve really tempered my assumptions about this guitar. It’s clear that I can see through appearances and appreciate this instrument for what it is.
This guitar is a clear-cut example of elegance and awesomeness.
I personally would call this the Ferrari of electric guitars. It’s pricey, but not the most expensive money can but. That, and it both looks and sounds absolutely immaculate

It would depend on the angle of contact but if it did shatter it would shatter into a million pieces. It wouldn't actually cut you but it could possibly scratch you. I've had a piece of tempered glass break over my head ( because two dumb-asses lifted above me while I was squatting and reading a glass label ) they hit the edge of the glass on a piece of metal and it rained glass on me for what seemed like 20 seconds.

That guitar will be worth an absolute fortune one day. It probably does cost a small fortune even now but a glass guitar could still be used in 500 years... Provided the electrics etc are maintained/replaced as needed those guitars will have an amazing long shelf life... the material is timeless and the artistic vibe is off the chain AND the owner can make their own art with it.... thats value to everyone. Music is win.

Damn it, I love me a good pun.
Thing with electric guitars is they get most of their sound from their electric parts. You can make a solid metal guitar and it won't sound any different(heavy af though). The body material just changes a small bit from how the vbrations bounce around it and off it instead of within it. Think less resonance, more flats. Glass lets vibrations bounce inside it so it sounds more open and light than some wood guitars which have a heavier deep tone.
The real test would be making an acoustic guitar from weird materials and seeing if it can hold a ring.

It was probably 30-40 years ago I came up with this idea for a solid glass guitar. I wanted to have a heating rod embedded in the neck so it wouldn't be cold. Figured it would look cool if that rod was chrome with an engraved dragon wrapping around it. I also wanted lights hidden behind the pickups that would glow blue for bass, yellow for treble, red for mids and get brighter the harder you played. I wonder how hard it is to re-fret a glass necked guitar?
I've been playing for 30 years and completely fell out of love with my instrument over recent years. Becoming a listener until i eventually stopped even doing that.
Seeing you play stirs something inside of me, part of me hopes to find my mojo once again.

Wild idea!
Very ingenious idea to actually use natural material with high rigidity such as glass. Not so many ppl apparently realise that glass when exposed to sound waves vibrates so much it can be used as passive sound amplifier. Easiest way of demonstrating it is to take a glass and put in in between headphone speakers. You will notice immediate increase in volume compared to just having headphones playing alone.
There is also possibility to further "enhance" amp effect by for example filling glass with water, or using different thickness (apparently thin glass works better when filled with water, while thick glass works better when empty). Keep in mind that effect of amplification is still relatively weak when compared to active amps and is thereby highly influenced by surrounding environment.
Most pronounced effect is in concrete buildings with exposed walls, while walls made out of wood, or containing sound-proof padding or any other sound wave absorbing material will diminish overall effect due to sound being projected to the sides and out of the open end of glass instead of just single direction as is the case of regular speakers).
Or there is also another very old trick used by peepers where if you want to eavesdrop on neighbour's conversation, just place glass on the wall and put your ear on it.😄

I was able to make eight guitars out of magnesium. They were called Magnatar they had some very unique properties if you ever see one for sale buy it and try it. There was one on reverb awhile back.

It was hyperbole I'm sure. There's definitely legitimacy to the whole Gibson headstock gripe though. Of course, if you're taking proper care of your instruments, you will very likely not have that problem. Accidents are bound to happen though, and I'd be much more confident that a PRS or Fender would be fine if I tapped the headstock walking through a door or something. Don't get me wrong though, I'm definitely a Gibson guy.

Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning!
Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" Glass is a conductor so resonance and tones will travel. Good parts in the guitar and the solid glass makes it sustain. Idk my honest opinion is whatever one likes. I'd probably play it and go by how it feels. It's really an art piece that actually functions as to what it is and not bad at all it has quality.
