For those wondering, this is the Bande Dessinee version of the Unicorn Gundam, where it uses the Armed Armor DE instead of the regular Unicorn Gundam Shield
I hear people say these are really finicky and they always untransform when you're moving it around during the transformation, or that parts fall off. But I own a Banshee and a Unicorn and the only parts that ever untransform are the back skirt thrusters and the only things that ever fall off are the little bits on the sides of the feet (the ones you turn to point down). So I don't really know what people are complaining about, they're great little kits and the transformations aren't too much of a pain to do - I actually kinda like doing it

just a question, would using the joint tightener marker also work on parts that arent joints? I have a build burning gundam and the blue transparent arm parts are a tiny little lose, not insanely loose just a little.
@@phantomguy6317you can use super glue, if you dont want to fixed glue it, just take a toothpick to apply a very small amount of superglue to the pegs, wait till it dry and put the parts back in. If your pre-molded joints are loose, just apply a drop or 2 of superglue to them, move them around, and they’ll be tighter, you can do it again if you want. (The superglue wont ruin the pre-molded joints, because they are made frim 2 different types of plastic, so they won’t stick)
While the transformations are cool, I feel like some of my parts are a bit too tight and require quite some fiddling to transform. Also, I think my Banshee is cursed, because I once broke both hip joints and had to replace them with metal ones, snapped the frame holding the revolving launcher and then broke the right gripping hand. Had to disassemble the arm to get the joint out and now he's a lefty.
I'm not sure lore wise if there is a reason to hide the psychoframe. Might be part of strategy to trick zeon remnants into thinking that the Unicorn is just another suit instead of a newtype hunter Gundam
@@robinworkson Unicorn timeline a Gundam is considered as taboo & illegal, especially if it has a little bit of psychoframe in it. The Unicorn suits practically break so many laws at that time
i only have FA unicorn but its 1/144 HG so it was already destroyer mode , that RG is great but if i have chance to build that i might make it a month 😅

I have a RG FA unicorn yes, the build really does take a while and needs a lot of patience. And has a lot of undergates. I went back to HGs after that kit lol. When transforming, you need to be really gentle as the parts are really delicate and can be easily broken off.

I've seen some guides online they applied some kind of lubricant to it. But personally I like the stiffness as it helps with stability during posing. Just be very very careful when moving the arm especially at the shoulders
From every unicorn gundam like the full armor, what is the best pick? Make your tierlist in the reply section from what you think is the best to buy and whats the least best to buy so i can ratio what ill get, not including perfectability tho, thank you!
I only have the 1/144 so from them i'd rate the RG full armor unicorn at the top because you get a whole lot from the package as well as the stability and details of a real grade. If you want a less tedious build then go for the normal RG Unicorn. The HGs don't tend to hold well as the joints gets loose over time but they are good for custom work and is still a good kit overall
I got this for my birthday and the quality control was bad the inner frame was bad one of the arms couldn’t move at the shoulder and I tried connecting it but it broke
I used the decals that came with the RG kit, and the biege shade is because I have this kit for 4 years now, over time the topcoat ages in a way? I store my kits in a closed display closet even with minimal dust and regular cleaning it seems that the white plastic over time seems to become more beige.

@phantomguy6317 it should work I've used topcoat to tighten up joints the were not a ball joint so I don't see why not.

It's the slight tint of yellow that plagues white plastic parts over time, my RG unicorn is more than 5 years old

The white is unpainted, I only added shades of gray on the shield and in the body
