if Wit commits to doing this for the long time and releases these as seasonal content like they usually do for their shows then I see no issue with them being able to keep up this quality. The biggest thing that might happen is we have a few arcs down the line that would be too long to cover in one 24 episode season if they want every season to be expanding on source material.
Not really, because I checked the wiki and seems like most arcs have similar lengths.
So east blue and wano country both hace around 100 chapters. (East blue being exactly 100 while wano country having a lil more.) Only reason why it feels longer is because of pacing. Keep in mind, most anime make an episode per 2-5 chapters, depending the pace they wanna go at but usually 3 chapters per episode is most common one. Toei however, made 1 episode per 1 chapter and in some worse cases, an episode per half a chapter. So you can tell just how much Toei was streching out the episodes to not overtake the manga.

@@CodsaAnimation Wano is 50 chapters more. Either they do more episodes or they split act 1&2 one season and act 3. A separate season.
@@CodsaAnimation I don't think just counting the number of chapters is a good metric. There are even in the manga Arcs that are more densely packed with information or character moments or fights compared to others. If Wit Studio wants to expand on those moments then they will need to take more time and more episodes than a single season some times. It happens in other seasonal anime as well it is a good thing not a bad thing.
Honestly seeing them refer to props and draw frames while looking at the manga pages made me even more excited. I love how detailed all the concept art is. I love that in the character sheets, you can tell that Zoro and Sanji have different builds and body types. And while they should maybe saturate everything a little more, I love the marker look. It looks just like the color spreads. I hope they keep it. But the production team is crazy! The _Attack on Titan_ director, the director of _Jujutsu Kaisen_ as your assistant director, the action animators for the remake worked on _Boruto_ and _My Hero Academia,_ the writer of _Ranking of Kings,_ and the _Attak on Titan, Spy x Family_ and _First Slam Dunk_ character designers! What‽ The board member of WIT in the video said he first heard about the project 4-5 years ago so it seems like they started working on this around the same time as season 1 of the live-action One Piece.
I love that they really seem to be sticking to manga fidelity. But I also hope that they play when it comes to stuff set up early on but we now know 1000 chapters later. For instance, in Buggy’s fight with Shanks during the Orange Town flashback, we know the pirate who broke it up was Rayleigh. So show us young Rayleigh from the Oden flashback. Don’t just make it the random pirate that Oda had to retcon into Rayleigh. Show other of the Roger pirates like Scopper, whom we meet in the Oden flashback. But maybe not Crocus or Oden. At Reverse Mountain, show us Yorkie, not the captain who would have to be retconned into Yorkie. Show us a character from the back that could be Brook. The Supernovas weren’t planned so maybe foreshadow them a bit with reports and new stories about other rookies tearing up other seas. Do what the Live Action did with those Foxy and Cavendish posters. And I hope they capture those moments in the early manga that when a character genuinely smiles, they shine in the panel.
u have a few things wrong here but the main thing is just bc they “heard of the project 4-5 years ago” doesn’t mean they started animating it that long ago.
good example would be opm s3, when they announced it that long ago doesn’t mean it’s been in production that long ago.

Nah, the ending is notoriously bad. Pretty much chickening out of what Eren's character was building up to be.

@kevinkovacs3131 He orchestrated a whole ass genocide. Even if he thought it was the only way to protect his friends, it doesn't make it a good thing. He lost that nuance when he was congratulated for what he did.
I didn't want Eren to be a hero, because that would be absolutely terrible. I didn't want him to be celebrated or be looked at in a positive light.
It's pretty bad and nihilistic too along the way going against what it stood for at first I think isayama didn't know what to do and focus on twists rather than story anyway atleast isaya accepted he fked up and apologised

listen im no pro but so far i saw them adapt the manga 1 to 1. but i think there is a few things in the anime they should take for refrence too. like nami stabbing herself over and over and that moment really lingering on. that moment is so short in the manga
To me the best thing about these anime studios is how they stay true to the source material and respect the author unlike some TV networks in the US HBO for example does not give a flying f about the source material of GOT and HotD completely butchering them

@@phillykat36 lol. It didn’t just not get better. It got WAY worse. Oda himself cast a black actor and said he was canonically African in the manga (and Luffy Brazilian) but these people were like screw that.

They better make Usopp darker.
1. Those character sheets showed no shading or background so every strawhat is lighter than they should be (white background doesn't help)
2. Usopp is very like brown in the manga volume covers from the very beginning of the series and the color inconsistencies is a Toei problem.
3. Looking at the storyboard art Usopp looks definitely better although he's the same shade as the others.
