John Zukowski is it ur truck? Nope! Then let him paint it how he wants! Who should give a care? If he wanted it to look nicer he would have paid some else to do it, n if u even watched last vid he said he’s gonna wrap most of it anyway so don’t worry yourself over it! He absolutely did wonders on restoring this truck already! Go watch the last 10 plus videos. Quit giving him any crap about how to run his channel. Cuz he can do whatever he wants!
@@ppump24valve53 Just a shame is all, potential flushed down the tube. Go through the work (yes, I have watched a few of the previous videos) to run out and "half ass" it at this point. But as you say, he can do what he wants.. Fair enough, it's not right, but fair enough.
No hits. No errors, but a lot of runs. Good thing it's getting wrapped.
I thought Weston Champlin was ruff with paint but you win. I shows that you don't like it body work
but anything will make it look shit loads better than it was. Cant wait to see you using it.
@Non Typical He's far from a hack. 🤣
@Non Typical your joking...
He is great.
I love Weston but he’s a little too loud for my liking. Still watch his videos though, just on low volume 😂
I hate painting my kitchen and Bruce is painting a fracking SEMI! Props, brother!
Y’all can keep hating but it’s his truck😂 you think he cares?
Bro, you should have done a light coat first to help the paint stick. Then come by with 2 to 3 regular coats. And your air pressure is up to high should be around 30psi. But this is all a learning factor. I give you credit for posting DIY videos. Knowing there will be comments. But keep up the work. Can’t wait to see it wrapped.
All negative comments are from armchair wannabe's that wish they had toys like this truck to work on, money to buy parts for this truck like he does, and as many subscribers like he does! Keep going Bruce, there are a more of us out here who support your fun, because it's fun for us! Haters and their jealously!
BBB also!!
For someone who has no experience or practice with painting, I admire your work ethic towards learning and getting better. Good shit Bruce. Paint job may not be the best but you're doing your best. Keep up the good work
Cut the run out with a razor blade. Just lay the blade flat and slowly slide the run out. Then lightly scuff it and reshoot.
Tungsten Block not a razor blade
You can use a single edge razor blade with a piece of tape on each end. Just hold it 90 degree to the panel, and pull with light preasure. Then since it is single stage, you can polish it up.
@@joshcertain3889 You can if your super careful but it's not recommended, razor blades are prone to dig into the paint too deep.
Hi!! I'm watching you from Russia (Krasnoyarsk). Really like your videos. I really don’t understand anything from the conversation, but everything is clear from the video. Shake your hand. I also really like to work with technology. Waiting for the next video !!!
Just lay more on it cause single stage you can cut and buff it the thicker the better
I’ve been in the trade for 40 years........here’s to you for taking on a big job and seeing it through
Glad it doesn't look like an old J.B. Hunt truck now
For someone who said they never painted anything like this before it really looks good.
Bert Grau lmfao this comment was great
Lol are you fucking blind?
@@oneeyedude20
No but I tried painting my old pick up and it really turned out bad. Like I said I think it looks good for a beginner. Shoot you have to get experience some where, and with your stuff is a great place to start.
@@bertgrau9246 doing shit on a video make it look 1000 times better. He said he had runs all over. How does runs look good? Lol
@@jasonritter2492
Well if you seen my old pick up after I painted it, you would say his truck looks good. All I'm saying is he tried and that's more than a lot of people would have done. It's not perfect and he knows it, maybe in the future he will do better.
But if it makes you feel good to put me down, please by all means do so cause I have respect for folks trying something they have never done and learn from it.
Have you ever made a mistake?
I know I have
Bruce been here since 25k my freind! I'm glad you stuck with it and have made it big my freind! Cabover build has had me hooked! Keep up the good content brother yeet yeet!
i think even maaco wouldve taken the windsheild wiper arms off before painting
No...they didnt mask a windshield. I had removed the trim so their excuse was they thought I was replacing it. IT WAS BRAND NEW REPLACED 2 WEEKS BEFORE.
@@Clem_Kadidlehopper use a razor held flat against the glass, that's what I've always done to get overspray off glass, or if the razor dosent work remove glass and use paint Stripper. Glass is unharmed by acid and is often used to transport and store acids.
@@joshuamcpeek4708
Strippers can cloud that old glass if not washed off immediately.
@@joshuamcpeek4708 I've always found steel/wire wool is good as well.
Looks good to me! If you’re gonna wrap it will be fine. Looks a lot better than when you first got it. Can’t wait till its all done.
I get that you don't know what you're doing but being that I've been painting in a body shop for the past 2 years... This kills me to watch😂 kind of funny but heartbreaking too😂
Love the vids on the old cabover it's great to see someone honor and charishing these old rigs my dad didn't like cabovers when he drove that just makes me want one even more to restore and make custom keep up the amazing work bruce
Damn these comments are harsh fella.... they still pissed about you kinking up that cab with the forklift 😂😂😂 Looks aight for your first rodeo to me 👍🏻✌🏻
He is the kind of guy that have the cab polished and buff out and then doing a paint over.
It's good enough, not a show queen, and there's gonna be some kinda wrap, paint ain't gotta be perfect, and he knew that from the start.
Looks good, I can't say I could have done it any better!! Keep up the good work, can't wait to see her finished and looking good!!
“Worst paint job I’ve ever seen” it’s his truck, it’s a work truck, it looks way better than what it was. It’s not going to be perfect. But for him doing it outside with what he has. I commend that.
Gotta admire your tenacity. Keep going you will Get R Done.
21:52 anyone else see the moon during the day? seems to be a full moon. 🌘
Yep! I thought when I saw it, "and we've got there!" I love America!
Plumber got called in for the un-taping
You got me, but that ain't full
Looks good brother doesn't matter if its perfect you got it done all by yourself big accomplishment!
Maybe start painting from top down?🤔
I always was told to paint bottom to the top

I´ve been following your videos since you´ve bought that Semi! believe me it´s a great inspiration for us all who own Vintage Trucks/Lorries/Buses/Coaches...
One day, you're going to wish you had used hearing protection much more often.
Hey i say he did a fine job! For his first time! And my hats off to ya for all your hard work! And as he said its a work truck!! Not a show truck!! 👍
The truck was really cool idk why you ruined it with a shit paint job
Dude you can lead the horse to water .. thus trucks fukkin spazzed up with forest rallying tyres and a earl schib $49 paint job ....
Grandpa would hate this look compared to how it was
livin the dream man, wish i made enough money n had the time to restore old vehicles like this, dont worry bout what ppl say about the painting, have to start somewhere
We may need to set up a "GoFundMe" for a better paint job.... LMAO j/k
ALSO the camera man earned his pay at 22:10-22:15...
Hey Bruce! Following your cabover project from Norway! Looking forward to every video you upload. Can't wait to see this truck finished. Keep it up man! :)
