▬ A NOTE ON USING LED LIGHTS AS HALOGEN BULB REPLACEMENTS ▬
Aim your headlights AT LEAST once a year and ALWAYS after replacing the bulbs.
If the cutoff is bad or you can’t aim them accurately or the light output scatters, it is NOT safe to use. Try a different style of LED or one with a lower output that will be more compatible with your light housing. See my other videos for more reviews.
When I use the word “headlights”, I am referring to legal off-road use or fog light use only as replacing factory halogen bulbs with LEDs for headlights in the US is not currently legal nor a DOT approved practice. This video is only for informational purposes for using LED lights legally. Check your local laws and regulations.

Thanks for the information! I went down a rabbit hole looking for replacement lights and your channel was a great help!
Glad I could help!
Thanks for the video, I bought the krieges for my 07 Cobalt SS S/C can't wait to try them out. Great content and very informative.
Glad I could help. BTW...I love the s/c'd Cobalts! Super fun cars to bang around in!
You should do a test on all the Main Sylvania Halogen lights from Basic -Zxe's, I know it ain't led but I've wanted to see a proper beam pattern and lux test on all of them with good quality and your reviews are perfect. Keep up the great work.
Not a bad idea. Thanks for the suggestion!
Your videos are great. I know keeping up with a channel is not easy or profitable, but for the retrofiters out there it would be great to test different affordable projectors. There's a lot of Chinese out there, with very poor quality, and there are some decent or good. Thanks!
I appreciate that! And I do agree, there's lots of junk out there. I try to cut through that by finding the ones that rise to the top through honest and consistent testing.
Hey Jason, another great review!
I think I found a winning bulb for the reflector housing with a laser focused cut-off and less glare than OEM halogen while being much brighter.
Enter the Philips Ultinon Pro9000!
I would absolutely love to see it tested on your channel! Just don't expect it to perform in the projector - it's mainly designed for reflectors.
I installed those in my parents Saab 9-3 (older model, uses H4 bulb). They do indeed work very well and there is no glare. Although, while it is much brighter than halogen, it's not as bright as some LEDs are. Still it's a very good bulb overall if a bit pricey.
@@vibingwithvinyl That bulb is designed for superior beam distribution vs. sheer power output so yes - it isn't as bright as most as a result.
Fahren's site is so confusing, making it next to impossible to compare or choose which is good/better/best for a given size. I ended up getting the Ursprung for my Honda Element. I had someone install them for me, only because for some reason the spring clip used on the Honda was distorted on one side and I could not get the old bulb out. The technician who installed them had trouble installing them because of the Fahren's fan housing, and told me that if I needed to remove them it could be more difficult than just unfastening the wire clip.
I am mostly happy with the new bulbs. They are certainly throw a brighter and whiter light than halogens on low beam, but it seems like the high beam is not as bright as I would have expected. I don't think it is the alignment of the LED's, and I have aimed the headlights properly. But not being able to compare the halogens and LED's back-to-back, I cannot say if it is merely because the low beams of the LED is so bright already that the difference in high beam is not as great.
Really liked your videos, could you test the "New" Sealight X4 H11?
Yes! I definitely want to test that. Looks like a good light...but how does it perform? I hope to find out soon!😎

Great video which ones are the new line up these just. And out are no I’m sorry I’m new to this head light game 😂
Can you rephrase that question? I am not quite catching what you are asking.
Great video! I have the 120w version of these and they are much brighter than the 60w version. They only cost $70
Good to know!
You should review the Scourge Fahren! That's the underrated one from Fahren
Please do the newly released Hikari/Accuma 2023 version.
Subbed and great job on the videos!
I have been looking at that one and I have it on my list!
Thanks!
Thank YOU for your support of Car Light Reviews! VERY much appreciated!! ☺️
Just installed these in my '13 Ford Escape. Had to use canbus decoders to get them to work. Light output is excellent compared to oem 55w halogens reflector housing. I got the Krieges after seeing your review of them. I had the Forscher bulbs ordered and had to cancel them after seeing this video. Please review the Termitors soon. If not, I might upgrade to the Hikira 2023 Titanovas. The light output on those are out of this word. Thanks for all that you do.
Great to hear! I will be reviewing the Termitors soon, stick around!
@@CarLightReviews I just went back to review the Titanova video and realized that they are not as bright, in a reflector housing, as the Krieges are. I'll wait patiently for your review of the Termitors. Thanks for all that you are doing.

Great video! When you mention reduced longevity due its temperature, based on your research and experience how many hours would they last, Fahren claims around 50K hours
I just bought this...I don't understand how to.adjust the light pattern....do I rotate the whole bulb??
The longevity thing is always questionable for just about any light. For example, a company offers a light with a 1 year warranty but claims that it has a 50,000 hour lifespan...which is 5 years and 8 months of continuous use. I don't think they have been tested for that long but are an estimate based on the components and materials. Or, it is just BS. Hard to say without actually testing, but I can tell you that if I turned one on and came back in 5 years and 8 months, the state of LED headlight upgrades will have advanced so much that the 5 year old light won't be as desirable.
I suggest that you look at my spreadsheet at carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs and focus on light output loss and temperature over time as a *rough* indicator of estimated longevity.
@@erickotapish7842 If the collar is adjustable on the size you use (sometimes it varies), then you install it with the collar as you would an OEM bulb and then the unit rotates in the collar. Check the user manual that came with it as they might need to have a screw removed to rotate, etc. You want the chips to shine at the 9 and 3 positions for a projector and to be perpendicular to the ridges in a reflector housing. It may already be in place from the factory.
If you are talking about aiming your headlight housing itself (which you should after changing bulbs), see your owner's manual.
@@CarLightReviews thanks! I ordered a set of h7 and h11 Krieges for my car, hopefully they will last more than a year haha
Hello Jason greetings from EU, which leds do you suggest me with the most white color and brightness, also as compact as possible for my motorcycle bmw c650 gt 2013 with reflector ?
If they make your size, consider the Bossla B1: ruclips.net/video/6l-iEnZCzKc/видео.html
Out of all the ones you have tested witch one would you recommend for a thinner cool fan assembly at the moment I have the auxito y13 h11 led headlight
For a super thin board light, I quite often recommend the Y13.
@@CarLightReviews thank you for answering and those are good lights no doubt

Can you please make reviews on h15 high beams led bulbs
Sorry, but I can only test H11 lights at this time.
Could you give an eta, when will be the X-7seven apollo review coming up? My decision is depending upon your review as I don't trust any other regarding led lights
I just bought these and I don't understand how to adjust the light pattern ....do I just rotate the whole bulb??
@@erickotapish7842 You don't need to rotate the whole bulb, just insert it perfectly and slight twist it to tight its position and led bulb should be straight vertical when you see from the front side of the car. Once done with both bulbs like that then adjust your beam pattern by rotating a circular knob somewhere along your backside of the bulb hosing and rotate it with a screw driver. Make sure both light beams are at exact position on the wall

Thanks for that review! Any plan to check out the fahren termitor?
I do plan to test them in the future, stay tuned!
I really wanna see termitor as well because I wanna upgrade mine
@@idrisahmedi4686 They are good, but not perfect. Out of several others i chose to live with the termitors so that says something, but im still looking...
What would you be "upgrading" from?
@@vikingvideo8561 I am upgrading from fahren forscher, they are 60W 14000 lumens total. Do you think it's worth the upgrade? And thank you for replying.
@@idrisahmedi4686 Honestly i have no experience with those so i cannot compare. May i ask what it is that you are trying to achieve with an upgrade? Many of these "bulbs" fall close in performance enough that you may not tell a difference. If i understand your goal perhaps i could better craft an opinion.
Bro, which one do you recommend after Auxbeam GX series money wise for H11 projector after travel of 30 mins or more? I am a highway traveler.
For the money? I'd say the Fahren Krieges.
@@CarLightReviews thanks bro.

Hi, wich Is brighter , this ir bevinsee v45, thanks
Take a look at my spreadsheet at carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs and review/compare the data. That should help!
What is best brand and model for size H4 led lighting for normal and old cars model
Sorry, but there really isn't an answer to that. "Best" can be interpreted in many ways and there is no single light that is perfect for all applications. Check out my other videos, review my spreadsheet and carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs and let that guide you to your best choice for your needs and application.
Which blub is the best to get for 9012 projector led's? Is the Auxbeam GX better than this one?
You have to define "best". Best brightness? Best value? Best quality? Pick two. Then, take a look at my spreadsheet at carlightreviews.com/headlightspecs and review the data. That should help!
@@CarLightReviews Not worried about Value, I just want Quality and Brightness. I picked up the DDM Saber ProX a couple years ago due to your Projector review on them. I since need another set of the same bulb for another vehicle and thought about going with these and moving the ProX's to the other car.
@@mountedpatrolman I have been using the DDM Saber ProX since I did that review. I really like it. However, this review that I did recently might be something you should consider: ruclips.net/video/NDmUn0kAEW4/видео.html

Any D2s hid to led conversation Your recommended? I’m in need of upgrading but don’t know what to get
I am not sure LED technology has caught up to HID in terms of output. I do plan to test some later this year.
@@CarLightReviews well auxbeam just came out with a kit
@@CarLightReviews so just get hid if the car come with it but get bulbs like osram and Philips
Because they do better ?
@@2basedtv371 I can't say either way as I haven't tested HIDs compared to LEDs yet. You can always try an LED upgrade to your HID, but be honest about how well they do compared to each other.
Can you review the new auxito 22000 lumens and compare it to the 20000 lumens
What is the model number?
I had these for a short time, until I sold the vehicle I installed them. Very bright for the price.
Thanks for the feedback!
What is the difference between this and the termitor the specs look the same
I'll be testing the Termitor in an upcoming video, but I believe the chips are different and it has a different main unit design.

Nope, the Termitor is a separate product.
Fahren Termitor review and lux test video here: ruclips.net/video/z6P5NZK2Oas/видео.html
Why do some LEDs have driver & others don't? I have Lasfit leds they don't have drivers.
They all have drivers, it just depends on where they are placed. When internal, there is more heat generated at the main unit, which usually means they dim faster and/or more. When external, it keep the deriver heat away from the main unit but there is usually more cost associated with extra cables, driver housing, etc.
Does anyone make a 5K light?
DDM Tuning and I believe GTR both do. ruclips.net/video/Bpa7KwJ262A/видео.html
@@CarLightReviews Thanks. I can't understand why 4500-5000K aren't more common. Low temperature lamps simply illuminate dark objects better.
@@ohger1 My assumption is that they don't sell well because most people think whiter = brighter/better/more attractive looking. Not many people know what you know....or really care. :)
@@CarLightReviews Thanks, and keep up the good work.
