Matt Crocker is such an inspired singer. His love for god and Jesus inspire me so much. Your words are so beautifully put together to worship the presence and the work of God.
I prayed this song as a prayer one day in woship. I can still see the moment in my minds eye. ‘Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders let me walk upon the waters wherever you would call me’Well, I went to Cambodia on a mission trip and became ill with a Spinal Cord Stroke at the T3. Now I am learning to walk again three and a half years later. Every time I hears this song I weep, sometimes uncontrollably. It has gotten better with time. I also didn’t want to hear it for a while. Today I want to go for prayer to the alter whenever it is sung.
Nadera Persad I’ve had Lyme for the last 18 years and had to leave seminary because it got too hard physically, so to me, it’s completely understandable that the song would be so hard for you, especially when you got sick while trying to serve God as you felt called to do. I thank God that you’ve been able to heal enough that the song now moves you toward prayer instead of pain and confusion. I pray for your continued healing, new movement into whatever delight the grace of God will pour out on your soul, your recovering body and on those who are helping you to live, heal and become the person God made you to be. And I’ll keep praising God right beside you, and serving God in whatever ways our bodies will allow. The Holy Spirit bless and the Lord keep you always!
Wow, I love the Zion Acoustic version, but there's just something about Matt Crocker singing it that gives it a hauntingly beautiful grittiness (thinking Johnny Cash singing Hurt) that almost feels more real and more soulful to me than the produced version. Matt and Joel, I love it, please release a version like this sometime.
You call me out upon the waters The great unknown Where feet may fail And there I find You in the mystery In oceans deep My faith will stand And I will call upon Your name And keep my eyes above the waves When oceans rise My soul will rest in Your embrace For I am Yours You are mine Your grace abounds in deepest waters Your sovereign hand Will be my guide Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me You've never failed And You won't start now So I will call upon Your name And keep my eyes above the waves When oceans rise My soul will rest in Your embrace For I am Yours And You are mine (You are mine) Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders Let me walk upon the waters Wherever You would call me Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander And my faith will be made stronger In the presence of my Savior Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders Let me walk upon the waters Wherever You would call me Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander And my faith will be made stronger In the presence of my Savior Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders Let me walk upon the waters Wherever You would call me Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander And my faith will be made stronger In the presence of my Savior Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders Let me walk upon the waters Wherever You would call me And take me deeper than my feet could ever wander And my faith will be made stronger In the presence of my Savior Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders Let me walk upon the waters Wherever You would call me And take me deeper than my feet could ever wander And my faith will be made stronger In the presence of my Savior Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders Let me walk upon the waters Wherever You would call me Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander And my faith will be made stronger In the presence of my Savior Yeah-yeah-yeah-yeah Oh, Jesus, You're my God I will call upon Your name Keep my eyes above the waves When Oceans rise My soul will rest in Your embrace I am Yours And You are mine

You call me out upon the waters
The great unknown
Where feet may fail
And there I find You in the mystery
In oceans deep
My faith will stand
And I will call upon Your name
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours
You are mine
Your grace abounds in deepest waters
Your sovereign hand
Will be my guide
Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me
You've never failed
And You won't start now
So I will call upon Your name
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours
And You are mine (You are mine)
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever You would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Savior
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever You would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Savior
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever You would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Savior
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever You would call me
And take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Savior
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever You would call me
And take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Savior
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever You would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Savior
Yeah-yeah-yeah-yeah
Oh, Jesus, You're my God
I will call upon Your name
Keep my eyes above the waves
When Oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
I am Yours
And You are mine
Even the sound waves look like the oceans🌊❤️

Sean Paul He is indeed a Hillsong pastor. That's Joel Houston. His father established Hillsong church.
His father is the founder of Hillsong Church! His name is Joel Houston, son of Brian and Bobbie Houston.
Joel’s face and his voice so much like his father more and more.

Think they're catching up because the channels had to have a bit of a makeover.
It's called "New Song Café" not necessarily meaning the songs are "new".
