How many percentage of alcohol should be used please 🙏
Your % should be determined on the quantity you are producing 😊 however for this particular measurement, the quantity I used is listed. Hope this helps

you do not need to let it stt to 4-6 weeks if you are using melt and pour soap base. Melt and pour soap base is a pre-made soap base that has already gone through the saponification process. Therefore, it doesn't require a curing period like cold process soap does. Once the melt and pour soap base is melted, it can be poured into molds and left to harden at room temperature. Depending on the size and shape of the mold, the soap may take anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours to harden completely. Once the soap has hardened, it is ready to be removed from the mold and used right away. However, it's best to allow the soap to cool and harden for a few hours before using it to ensure that it is fully set and won't be too soft or sticky.

I agree with curing the melt & pour. I understand that theres a debate wether to cure or not to cure. But from doing my experiments, i have discoverd that curing works best for me.

You can try with castor oil, however I haven’t used Castor oil for this particular recipe

Unlike cold process soap where it takes anywhere from 4-6 weeks to cure. With Melt and Pour one doesn’t have to wait, it can be used immediately. I’ve been making soap for about 8 years. Never had any problems. Google it and you’ll see what I said to be accurate. 🌹
Saponification for hot process soap is complete as soon as you’re done. So no need for curing

Hello Vanessa, you can also use a slow cooker (crockpot) to make this! Let it sit and check intermittently. Trust me, you’ll get better results. Use a stick blender to help you break down and incorporate the stearic acid and coconut oil. 🌹 Warm regards from Miami. 🙏🏽🌹
