@@CarlosHerrera-dy1op from 5:45 he plays Redecorate and he's trying to imitate that he builds up the song live. Sometimes you can hear that he isn't on time with the instruments when he first plays. Check Ed Sheeran's any live performances on yt and you can see what is live looping....or you can just type my name in yt;) I do live loop covers as well
Fake looping? That's the delay from the speakers that are about a football field away by the stage. You hear the instrument he loops live without amplification, but the looping playback only comes out of the speakers by the stage. No fake looping man.
