with this one it worked very well keeping water above the soil line. You can grow lettuce in direct water so just make sure it never dries out, saturate it. stump you can use several times
I tried with iceberg lettuce and it didn't work for me. This method is best used with cut and come again lettuces such as Romain, green leaf and butter bibb lettuces.
I do this too, very rewarding seeing a plant grow so fast! 💚
Thanks Geo! It really is cool and rewarding
Very cool! How often do you water it? Also, how many times can you reuse the same stump? Thanks!

@@mygardenchannel Great! Thank you!
@@mygardenchannel i know this is old but can you get the regrown lettuce to bolt to make more lettuce seeds?
Dies it have to be a glass jar or will plastic work? What other vegetables or herbs can you do this with. Do you need direct sunlight?
Do you plant on the ground after the 5 days 🤷🏻♀️
you could but we just harvest it again right from the jar after 10-15 days
@@mygardenchannel ... awesome I will try it out . Thx
This has never worked for me 🙈 Have decided to just buy seeds
