Taeyang is an amazing singer all by himself, and as you heard from other comments he is from the legendary group Big Bang. Every member in the group are known for their raw vocals and performances. The girl that is singing with him is one of his fans and she went by Rytham Gangster for the show. The show pairs a fan with an artist and they have one hour to rehears together. Now Taeyang and Big Bang dabuted in 2006 so they had been around for a long time, but this was his first time dueting with a women. They both were amazing and this is one of almost every V.I.P.'s (Big Bang's fandom name)favorite Taeyang moments. Now who I really want you to react to is G Dragon the leader of Big Bang, he has such a unique voice and I know you will love how talented he is as a singer, rapper, producer, writer, and all out visual artist. Big Bang are known for a lot of firsts in Kpop, first to have two rappers (higher/lowere registers), first with a hip-hop or R&B sound, the first to break the bubble gum aesthetic, the first to bring in an underground rapper, the first to write and produce their own music. That is definitely not all but I could be here all day listing all their accomplishments. I guess I would recommend Cafe from Big Bang or Anymore by Daesung, he is also in Big Bang. You clearly know what you're talking about. I appreciate that in a reaction, that you're coming from a place of expertise. I find over-riffy singing super annoying but this performance has a ton of riffs and completely avoids that somehow. Also appreciate that you called out the 'live'-ness. I always wonder about that when performances are really clean but as you point out, it's not flawless. It probably has been cleaned up a bit but it feels human still.
