    Good afternoon Edd China!
    Great to see the progress.
A common over site is the cleaning of the closed cooling circuit.
Over years you can get a huge build up with sludge on the coolant side too.
    Good luck

Hi, looks like a good time to do the closed circuit as well. It’s got fresh coolant in…
      See you tomorrow night 😉

Thanks for the how to video. Can you explain "the chemical"? What product are you using and how does the "turns orange when PH neutral" bit work?

It’s called Proflush engine descaler - I got this from their website: ProFlush is a highly concentrate Marine Engine Descaler that removes salt and deposits from the cooling system of your engine. By doing so, it increases the efficiency and engine life. A great feature of this descaler is the fact that it contains a neutralisation indicator that shows that the product has worked by changing the colour of the liquid.
ProFlush is a synergistic blend of acidic compounds that work together to be more effective than when used separately. When ProFlush is actively neutralising deposits, you can see the effervescence and a colour change from red to orange, once all the scale and deposits present have been successfully dealt with, the effervescence will stop. All products have been neutralised when the liquid will constantly have a red colour.
      Hope that helps. Ed

Great vid. Roughly how much solution was required and did you mix 50/50? Thanks

Hi, I used three bottles in my bucket and added just under 50% water to it. I think the bottles are 1 litre each from memory 👍🏻

Hi Ed..hope you are well. Been on Woolverstone beach the last three days fishing. Got a 47 cm bass friday, first one i took home for the Barbq..it was Lush. When i was down there around high tide last night about a quarter of a mile out the water was boiling and fish jumping out of the water with seagulls diving in...what would those fish had been ? Also there was a seal swimming up and down..big black head..it was either that or the Lock Ness Monster !! Cheers

Hi Trevor, great news you got one for the bbq - great eating size! The fish would likely be mullet fry or whitebait that have been pushed to the surface by the bass feeding underneath. If you can ever get a lure in the middle of that you’ll get a fish a cast, it’s some of the most exciting fishing you can get. Although mostly only able to do so by boat. Cheers, Ed
