- Put this little tutorial together this morning as many people by now have asked me for one after seeing my GOAT video. I hope that this will help whoever wants to play it on a nylon guitar.

@@daviimma yeah im a beginner have been play acoustic guitar for 2 month and this riffs is really fun to play cause i can feel a progress everytime i play it
😂😂
This is great thank you, playing it slow in front of the camera in one shot is great so I can see your hands.
Great! Yes I was trying to make it as clear as I could. It was however really early in the morning😂
Ll ll
This song always sounded like it was made for the flamenco style. This exceeded my expectations - awesome vid
Thanks a lot Russel, I’m so glad you like it🙏😃
Hearing him make mistakes is pretty much the greatest thing I've ever heard, because now I know for sure he's human, and it makes the rest of the perfection all the more real.
Also, that guitar tone is amazing... sounds so beautiful.
Thank you again Bean! I am absolutely human and make mistakes all the time😃 I could have of course edited out all the mistakes but I think it’s also important to show the difficulties we’re all facing when learning a new piece.
Wow, I didn't think I could play this but after a couple hours of practice I can play the first half, that's unbelievable. Thank you so much
That’s great Itami, happy to hear it👏👏👏🙏
Oh my god! This is golden! For someone who’s passion is classical nylon guitar but discovered GOAT, this is amazing! Thank you so much! It definitely spices things up after playing Tarrega and F. Sor
Great! I’m happy to hear that😃
Sir, I'm not even a guitar player but this is awesome!
And a couple of extra notes:
First of all, I think we all need to thank Liam for suggesting you should try to cover this song haha
And secondly, upon watching your cover, I searched your songs up on Spotify/Deezer, and DAMN, what a joy. Pa'ki Pa'ka is good but Alquimia strung the chords in my heart. Outstanding work!
Haha thank you very much Thiago🙏 Your comment made me genuinely happy! I’m so glad that you like my music as well🙏 Had it not been for covid I would’ve been in Granada recording the next album now, but hopefully things will get better soon...! Thank you once again Thiago🙏
I've been playing guitar for about 20 years now and I'm struggling to learn this song. Granted, I haven't been playing much of this type of music before, but I think it's still saying something about the complexity of this piece that I've been grinding my fingers down for the better part of a fortnight trying to learn this. Awesome video, thank you!
Edit: You never explained how to play the run at 10:50 but it wasn't very difficult to figure out
Dude this is pure gold! Really really thanks you! I listen your cover every day. So sick
Thank you very much Marcos🙏
This is much doable than the tapping those high note. Thank you sir, you're the best.
Thank you very much! I’m so glad it’s of some help🙏😃
You have a mastery of the classical guitar. I have done a lot of looking for better materials to learn this piece as well as many others and the best was a poorly transcribed guitar pro file. When I heard the first section of your video from your earlier performance, I didn't hesitate to add it to my playlist of pieces to learn. I stopped to give myself a break to thank you.
Wow. Thanks a lot man! Appreciate it!
Spent the past 2 months coming back to this video over and over practicing till I got every note. I finally got it. Thanks so much
Wow! Congratulations man! I’m so happy for you😃👏👏👏
@@robertsvard8254 In my teen days, I was looking up to shred guitarists like Marty Friedman. This new style of guitar makes even shred guitar look easy.
Man, this is simply amazing!
Not only you are one of the best guitar players I've seen, but you are also super didactic.
In one day I already learned almost half the song. Before this tutorial I thought that it would take me months!
Loved the arpeggio exercise too. I'm practicing it every week.
Thank you so much!
Thank you very much for your kind words Doug! Reading your comment makes me genuinely very happy.🙏😃
Hand movements PLUS ULTRAAAA
Haha thanks man!😃
Thank you very much for taking time, showing us this. I came across your guitar cover of poliphia last night, totally blown away’ but discouraged, I put my guitar away. I don’t do that. I started watching this video today ,I feel better. Love the parts you applied on the acoustic fretboard. The F# maj scale on 2nd and 3rd frets, too open E min arpeggio on 2nd fret, up to 12 fret sweep, E, F#, and G notes, ending on F #maj sweep on 14th fret, is badass. I can’t explain it, it just works for me on acoustic. I can understand why you usually play your own music. You don’t need anyone else, unless inspired.
Thank you very much Danny! I’m so glad to hear that you no longer feel discouraged and that this tutorial is helpful to you! Also great to hear that you nailed the arpeggio! Well done man!!
One of the simplest and best tutorial ive ever seen.
You just earned a sub,my man.
Thank you very much! I’m so glad it was helpful to you🙏😃

😆Yes!!
Riktigt bra spelat! Håller själv på att hoppa på flamenco-tåget.
Tusen tack och vad kul! Då ses vi säkert därute framöver:)
10:06 that part is so clean. i'm not very familiar with flamenco, but you've integrated it so åerfectly into this song. i'd love to see more polyphia songs dpne in the future
Thank you very much Malek! Yes, maybe I’ll do another one some time in the future:)
I love when he's like, yeah.. it's a little nasty lol yeah that run is sick. He kills it tho, and helped me nail it
😆🙏 Thanks Justin! So glad to hear that this tutorial was helpful to you!
Besides you are an awesome guitarist, you share your knowledge with the community and that is priceless, thank you and keep up the great work!
Thank you very much for your kind words Diego. I strongly believe that knowledge in itself is not worth anything unless one shares it.
That headstock is wild ❤
Thanks so much for this tutorial. As a flamenco guitarist, I wanted to try goat and your Tito is perfect for that. Thanks.
Note : don't mind those who asks for tabs. Your video is quite enough.

Haha thanks Diego🙏😃

“It’s a little nasty!”
Lol great vid thank you.
Thank you sooo much! I'm in no way able to play this... ever, I think. But I still watched till the end.
I would like to work hard to be this epic some day, but man.. I don't even know where to start.
Thank you so much, please make more videos!
Thank very much!🙏 Yes my plan is to do some guitar technique videos starting at a very basic level all the way up to some really advanced stuff. I think that practicing the right techniques you will be able to play this a lot sooner than you think😃
Sounds awesome, looking forward to it!
This is the best one of these I've found. Thank you.
Awesome of you to put this together in response to people asking!
Thanks a lot🙏 I’m just really happy that I may be able to help one or two people who are struggling with this piece.
Thank you so much for taking the time to make this! It'll probably be a month or two before I can even attempt the entire thing at full tempo, but I know I'll get there. :)
Are there any drills or exercises you recommend for improving accuracy in large movements up/down the neck, and especially landing harmonics right in those situations? I can get them like 80% of the time now, but it seems like I'm not improving much from there, and 80% obviously isn't good enough for a piece where I have to do that a couple dozen times.
Thanks a lot man. Let me have a think about your questions and I’ll get back to you or maybe post a video with some pointers.
Best tutorial video
Thank you very much Binh!🙏😃
Absolutely incredible
Thanks a lot🙏🙏😃

@@robertsvard8254 I think I will be able to figure it out. But I play guitar for only 4 months so it will be difficult. But I will try as much as I can😊
This video inspired me, to force my fingers walking around neck. I challenge my friend to learn this song by your guide in couple of week :). Because all well know that music is competition!
Hahaha Thank you very much! I wish you both the best of luck and may the best man win😃😃😃😃.

It will take weeks but it will be great to learn it !! Thank you thank you thank you, your techniques are wonderful!!
I really appreciate this tutotorial for such an awesome cover!
I wonder what you think of this song as a a flamenco guitarist? I think it actually works really well with the classical or flamenco style
Thank you🙏 I agree. In terms of rhythm and tonality it works perfectly.
Wow grymt! Tusen tack, vad kul det skall bli att tackla detta med din hjälp. :)
Nyfiken på reparationen av din gitarr, hur lång tid tog det dig att spela hål på den-- eller är det en olycka? Har bara sett något liknande ett par gånger förut. Mvh
Respect for you 🖤
This is great
Great! Hope it helps!
It is a very good tutorial. Thank you!
Thank you very much! I hope it’s of some help😃
Hope you are going to make more lessons, you are great with your information.. Iam grateful for your help and thoughts..

@@robertsvard8254 the tutorials are really helpful, thank you for them!
@@robertsvard8254 having trouble with the harmonic at 1:13, any tips?
@@finalshade14 I think that what makes those particular harmonics difficult is controlling the jump down to the 7th fret and hit the harmonics cleanly. I would try practicing beats 2,3,4 ie the sequence before (the D octaves ending with the open B) and the harmonics together slowly. Also if you have trouble getting the harmonics to sound clean you might want to try doing them with another finger (left hand). I use my 3rd finger (ring finger) as this seems to work best for me. Depending on the size of your fingers (and where your finger joints are located) this could make a big difference. What you obviously don’t want is the string to “get stuck” in one of your joints as it will not ring. The other golden rule regarding harmonics in general is to have a very short attack, ie lifting your left hand off the strings immediately after hitting the note/notes. I hope this will help!😃
@@robertsvard8254 thank you so much! This helps a ton

Uf, gracias por esto. Genial, en serio. Te mereces estar en el top.
Muchas gracias🙏 Espero que te sirva! Saludos!!
Now, with this tutorial I might be tempted to try at least some parts.... but that Barre on 12th, and all that playing in 15th and beyond.... did you consider using a guitar with cutaway, and eventually the neck-body joint at 14th fret?
Yes! That part and the stuff above the 12th fret would certainly be easier with a cutaway. But it’s absolutely doable even without one:)
thank you man!
No problem Mico. Hope it will help you🙏😃

absolutely clear, flawless tutorial. you earned a subscriber my friend !
Thank you very much man! Appreciate it🙏
You are really getting me inspired to try and learn flamenco techniques. I dont have a classical guitar... Do you think i absolutely need one?
Thank you!! I’m so glad to hear that. If you’re only interested to learn some of the techniques and apply them to whatever it is that you’re playing normally then no, I don’t think it’s absolutely necessary to run off and by a nylon guitar. Some of them will work fine on an electric!🙏😃
@@robertsvard8254 thanks!
Thank you man
No problem at all, hope that you’ll find it useful😃
This is mind blowing, great video and thanks a lot
Thanks a lot man! I hope it’s helpful to you🙏😃
I don't know what to say about this. It's just amazing thank you for this video 🔥🔥
I like around 7:50 to 9:00 when he keeps hitting the wrong harmonic, and I'm pretty sure its one of the really hard harmonics to nail (small window) and he nails it perfectly every time.
Thanks man🙏 Yes that harmonic is somewhat hard to control as there is a lot of movement in the left hand in that section.
@@robertsvard8254 All good, I meant the one you were supposed to hit was easier than the one you accidentally hit (I think), yet you hit the harder one and it rang out perfectly. In other words, you have amazing finger tone.
@@robertsvard8254 thanks so much for posting this, your rendition is my favorite by far, and now I can learn a bunch of the really hard parts from you that would have taken me a long time to figure out on my own.
