What is so great about cities from Budapest east is that they, like Cluj Napoca are not festooned with these giant high rise sky scrapers as in the west. Because of that you don't see the huge thick stifling crowds of people. It makes for a much more relaxed atmosphere. Cluj Napoca is an absolutely beautiful city. I would much rather live there then in any American city.
