Can you explain the differences between engine, ladder, rescue and squad?

squad is more of a all of the above apart from ladder, ladder has a big ladder nothing special engine gets the big amounts of water and is normally the hydrant truck and rescue is a bigger engine and squad. :)

This game would be cooler if you could be there Chief and command a full crew instead of having to do everything yourself. However, you could still drive and take over any character you wanted too

How did you use the standpipe?

Connect the supply line from the engine to the hydrant, connect an attack line from the engine to the stand pipe. Then turn on the pump on the engine. On the side of the engine, press left control to bring up the circle menu thing, then choose the hose, also pick up a nozzle, and take that hose on your shoulder to the standpipe outlet inside the building. I think its e to connect to the inside outlet. then take out your nozzle and your good to go.n
