Colleen Kyle But in some cases there are legitimate health reasons as to why someone gets overweight. Thyroid issues is one of the top ones. Also hormone imbalances can play a role. For example, PCOS. It’s very easy to gain weight with PCOS, but really difficult to lose it because your hormones that control blood sugars and things like that are so out of wack. It’s very frustrating. He had zero business talking about them like that.

It's not really that important to me, but I think should say that if you take a look at your average body builder who uses steroids and then look at him you'll see that he doesn't look like them.

Where is the bodyshaming, if someone says that parents with overweight/an eatingdissorder are not a good idol for theire kids? Even studies say, that the chance that children from overweighted parents will overweight too, is very high. Especially people in the USA should maybe think a bit more about the harm overweight/eatingdissorders causes for them snd theire next generations, instead of reacting offended everytime the hear the word overweight.

Colleen Kyle But in some cases there are legitimate health reasons as to why someone gets overweight. Thyroid issues is one of the top ones. Also hormone imbalances can play a role. For example, PCOS. It’s very easy to gain weight with PCOS, but really difficult to lose it because your hormones that control blood sugars and things like that are so out of wack. It’s very frustrating. He had zero business talking about them like that.

In my opinion, and it is only my opinion, they send out a false message to these children. Like the one little girl that got upset because she didn’t think her mom meant she was beautiful ALL the time. And the little girls who are allowed to act anyway they want and to show such disrespect to their parents and to every adult that comes close to them because they just have to get themselves “emotionally ready” to get on the stage. And the little girl who would rather play hockey than being in these pagents but is forced to do them. Or the best one, the mother who took pride in beating her little girl by winning a higher crown. And then telling her daughter I was just better than you. It is the moms that get so addicted to this. They are the ones that have to win because they lack something in their lives. Put these kids in something constructive. A musical instrument or dance. They can still learn poise and grace. They have recitals and concerts.
