The English translation of the introduction says that this is an "immature" band. Presumably that means it is new to marching. Well if they hadn't told us, we would never have guessed. This is an enjoyable and polished performance.

However, although Matsue have a long record of performing in "sit-down" concerts, there seems to be no RUclips evidence of them in marching mode older than about a year. They then appear with a dance and play style which is surely the most difficult to adopt, pointing to the band's ambition and courage. They deserve recognition!
There's a certain similarity in uniform as well but they might have copied it from Izusho (another Shimane prefecture band that is one of KT's sister bands).
@@torts-cu did you mean the marching formation and the movement? If so, afaik that is the usual format determined by the competition i.e. 1st part requires the band to go around - each band then decides their own routine on how to do this. If you look closely you'll see that theirs is quite different to KT's. I am assuming you are referring to KT's marching competition in 2015 where they play the same piece and got the Gold prize medal?

I'm a KT fan, but I don't think they "took" it from KT. Any band can play the Merry Go Round piece, and they seem to play it quite well.
