This is a very unique idea. I never would of thought of building a mesh tunnel over the path. I loved the idea with the rocks and the shallow pool too. The lighting looked great and all. Good work ZSHplays, I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your videos!
If you haven't already started the wombat exhibit I feel like it would be cool to add koalas to the exhibit, because there's a myth in Australia called the "drop bear" which is pretty much just a koala that jumps down from the trees and attacks people, or maybe it could be its own exhibit, I think that'd be really cool with the whole spooky theme of the twilight pack
You'll have to make sure there's a staff member on standby to clear up anything the raccoons drop through the mesh, especially with it being dark! I used to live in Leeds but never made my way to Tropical World. I may have to convince my wife it's time to go back up for a visit and go, you mention it so much I feel like I should have gone at least once!
Haha poor caretakers! Yeh, Tropical World is only tiny, nothing mind-blowing but there's some good stuff. I think I mention it so much because it's the only small, entirely indoor zoo I've ever been to 😆 Have you been to Ponderosa Zoo? That is really good now!
I really love this build!!! And I know it's not meant to be entirely realistic, but the raccoons can definitely escape. Not in the game, but in reality they would just climb up the mesh sides of their shelter and leave. lol
@@ZSHplays You did but they could probably climb over that. And also there's a spot where they can just climb to the side, and don't necessarily need to go over the roof. I live in Florida and the raccoons here are pretty dexterous and can get in places you wouldn't expect them to lol
This is gorgeous and definitely safe in game, but it keeps giving me anxiety thinking about all the ways actual raccoons would get out (climb the chain link on their sleeping area, climb onto the side/top of the overpass and then down to the path, swim over and climb up the decorative root work, just jump from the big rock to the path) I used to volunteer at a wildlife rescue, trust me when I tell you those buggers Will Not be contained. It was not uncommon for the raccoons to be Voluntarily Released from the rehab center (that’s when an animal escapes lol, but the idea is If They’re Well Enough to Escape They’re Well Enough to Survive)
Yeh I went a bit style over substance with this one! I did fix the mesh issue you mentioned but some of the others... let's just say it's lucky they're not real Raccoons 😆
I love this so much ❤ Looks great and so creative! The little mesh tunnel for them is awesome and 1st time I've ever seen some sort of rock pool, It's a great touch and idea. Just wondering though do the animals actually interact with it or is it just for show? For me personally I would have really liked to see some more shots at the end please! 😊

I'm a bit late to view this, but if they are nocturnal, shouldn't their sleeping enclosure be covered in so the sun doesn't keep them awake? Loving your zoo though, very imaginative enclosures!
My main question is, how long did you have to wait for the raccoon to cross the bridge for your opinion shot? I imagine a lot of raccoons rubbing their hands while evilly looking at you setting up the camera position.
I really like the habitat. But anytime I try to make this kind of building The zookeepers keep complaining they cant reach the poop on the other side.... its so sad... T-T
Thanks Moira! I'm not having that issue here, I think it depends how big the habitat is? If you're in sandbox you can always disable defecation as well

Interesting! I’ll look into it, thanks!
I absolutely love the aesthetic for this exhibit! it came out so well, I cant wait for the next ep
Thanks! Hope you like tonight's!

I thought I put a big overhang all round the shelter roof? I'll have to check it out now, good spot!

Aw, look at those cute little trash pandas in their luxury habitat!
I love them 😍
Tropical World!!! As someone who lives in the city next to Leeds I went on so many school trips there😂
Happy days 😆

Yes they do! I’m away this weekend so I didn’t have long to do the cinematics, they definitely could have been longer, glad you enjoyed it!

What do you think of that?
Sounds like you’ll be busy!
@@ZSHplays Because, this is the idea I gave you.
@@spencerhenry800 Ah right, I've never seen Jumanji so I'm not sure I could do it justice 😆
Wow amazing! How do keepers clean the side of the habitat they can’t get to, do you find the animals don’t really poop that side?
I think (and we all know PZ moves in mysterious ways) that the keepers can do that from anywhere
@@ZSHplays oh magic! Thankyou :)
If you actually had an overpass over the guests like that, the raccoons would poop all over your guests xD
Makes it all the more immersive 😆
@@ZSHplays Omg 🤣
That overpass looks great! I suppose we'll also see skunks soon in this North American section? 😁
Thanks Fabian! I suppose you might be correct 😆
they keep falling in the water with me.. and the pool isn't enough water for them??? ughhh how do you keep them out of the water in the middle?
They're supposed to go in the water in the middle, IRL... they would escape haha. I'm calling it dramatic licence
@@ZSHplays ohhh but they get stuck with me and then cant get out whaha
I'm a bit late to view this, but if they are nocturnal, shouldn't their sleeping enclosure be covered in so the sun doesn't keep them awake? Loving your zoo though, very imaginative enclosures!
Hah! That is... correct 😁 I did not consider that, I will correct this next time I'm in the zoo, thanks!
My main question is, how long did you have to wait for the raccoon to cross the bridge for your opinion shot? I imagine a lot of raccoons rubbing their hands while evilly looking at you setting up the camera position.
Haha about 2 mins I think?
