I wish there was something like this in Jurassic World: Evolution 2. Like if you randomize the dinosaurs you hatch, you get a chance of breeding an albino/melanistic/Shiny (like Pokemon) dinosaur in the batch.

Oddly enough this is actually a mechanic in Prehistoric Kingdom. All the skins for the extinct animals have a rare chance to spawn as leustic, albino or Melanistic

Edit: I got it from breeding two Albinos hence why I thought it was a mistake and these albinos come from a strong line of full albinos that i’ve been breeding and selling for over 2 months real time so it was really confusing when a gold one popped out 😂

@Virtualist345 Btw , quick question about colormorphs you’ve done ^^. Have you encountered any color variations with cougars , like a leucistic one?
Cougars don't have any color variation for now, but they might get one in the future.@@FerociousTiger5000
@virtualist345 I hope so, I heard about there being a leucistic cougar from National Geographic, and I can’t remember if you showed a golden zebra or if there was one let alone with a spotted zebra , if you’ve heard of that . I really love learning about these amazing colormorphs ^^
@@FerociousTiger5000 Leucistic and melanistic cougars do exist in real life, as for the Golden zebra sadly It isn't in the game yet, but It might get added as they did with other variants.

Currently there is no Qingling (Brown) Panda or golden zebra, but they might get added in the future.
I was also confused why is there no qingling panda. Tell planet zoo about it and they will IMMEDIATELY add them
Reason why there's no brown panda is because its a subspecies and not the exact same thing as a regular Panda

People that ask why there is no variants for some animals is probably because there is no example
There's also a leucistic bison and alligator.
I couldn't find any information on those variants, i've checked all sites and they say there's only albino.They also don't seem to appear in game.

I know this is not the place for such questions, but maybe someone here can help me. It builds a zoo normally and when I try to put an animal in the pen it shows me "no destination paths", it always builds the entrance to the pen and a link to the main path. help
Sometimes this happens if I haven’t hired caretakers or anyone to deliver the animals or if the habitat is new. To get around it I click to send the animals to the zoo and put them in trade centre (the actual building in your zoo) and try again. Hope this helps 😊

You can get the leopard in the Conservation Pack DLC, but that DLC is not out on consoles yet, so you will have to wait until it releases.

Yes, you can breed them in any mode, but the chance of getting one is very rare.
Animal with blue eyes or black markings is called leucistic not albino. Albino is animal with red eyes
The game calls them albino, so I just went with It.

Not really, but they are difficult to get so people like to collect them.
The california sea lion is just a fur type
Many animals such as llamas have different fur types instead of colourmorphs, but i've decided to include them because they're very different from their normal counterparts.

Loveley, but Frontier still needs to lear the difference between albino and leucistic, the were like 10 leucistic animals tagged as albinos and the same with albinos tagged as leucistic.
Can you name which ones ?
Albino is a lack of pigment while Leucistic is a white colouration. Albino animals are usually characterised by having reddish or white eyes as they have no pigment.

All Albinos and stuff are based on examples from the real world. So there might not be an Albino Komodo Dragon in real life

They have a rare chance of appearing, you need to breed animals until you get one with a color variation or either just buy them till you find one.
Special coats are easier to get if you play sandbox mode.
