Like I get if your not religious, and heck, you might not actually care if people say " gays and trans didn't deserve rights " while on a global event like the Olympics.
But possibly you could put yourself into a mindset that in both scenarios. People should care? The same way straight people should stand up to gay hated, should be the same way gays stand up to religious hatred.

Yes, PLEASE check them out. Better yet check them out and compare them to an uncropped image of the performance or better yet actually watch this performance that you are passing judgement on. Then you will see that that table is actually a runway that they were having a fashion show on and dancing and celebrating on and that in full view it doesn't look like anything from the Last Supper. You will see that there aren't only those few people shown in the cropped photo but there are tons of people dancing around the runway and none of them look like anyone in the Last Supper.

His image is used all over the world and is very recognisable. He appears in two disney movies, Fantasia and Hercules. It was extremely obvious to most people around the world. Educate yourself before you complain. This is why the rest of the world sees the U.S. as an uneducated joke.

Da Vinci's "The Last Supper" was finished in 1498.
Van Bijlert's "Festin des Dieux" was painted in 1635, as a paganization of Da Vinci's already famous work, since that feast of Dionysus was usually illustrated in forests and fields, according to Greco-Latin literature, but as an act of rebellion to the numerous religious commissions, they took the image of the table, changed the appearance of the central figure to make it look like Christ and 'expanded' the concept of the Holy Supper to a pagan polytheistic one. This was done in countless works (e.g. Balen's Feast of the Gods and Jan 1615), all as a mockery, correction, substitution or even cancellation of biblical messages.
I live from and I have been in the art world all my life (those from the Esc Luccetti or fellow Art students at the Universidad del Sagrado can confirm this fact). I am very educated in this field and have done fourteen exhibitions and participated in more than 25 collective exhibitions in and outside of PR (winner of the UNESCO prize, as outstanding painter, 1996). My favorite period was the Renaissance. Believe me, I know a little of what I am talking about.
