One of the saddest thing we could experience while playing the game is to feel that we're left alone by our dear friends in the game. I really miss the old school RO. I made a lot of friends within the guild and within a certain place where we usually spend our time after party leveling or boss hunting. This isn't just a typical game, this is the best MMORPG in my entire life. It's merrier if you have friends to play with. I remember the days when I still have my MVP hunt partner, we're playing until midnight and we didn't even notice the time because we definitely enjoyed everything. This is where I met genuine friends which eventually became my "family". I've learnt a lot of things, game play, strategies, builds, best equipments, weakness and strengths. Though, we’re still playing classic RO today but you know, we all know that everything has changed. Apparently, players get better with the gameplay. Probably because we are already growing older? Most players are already busy with their personal life and stuff, schedules are complicated and conflict and most probably we all have different priorities and responsibilities now. But you know what remains the same? The Essence of the Ragnarok Online, it will be forever in our hearts. 😊💛
This almost made me cry... It reminds me so much of my RO experiences. Back when I was still pretty low level I made friends with an Assassin and a Hunter.... They helped me get to be really good at playing RO, because our group took now shortcuts, we just played together. They even gave me some of their gear to help me out. Then one day they just kind of... vanished. I haven't seen any of them since... so this brings tears to my eyes, remembering them and how much they helped me...
This game doesn't hold your hand, so you have to rely on others to help you. You could make friends, discover stuff together and actually go on adventures. At least that's how it used to be when there wasn't much information on the internet and new people joined the game. Nowadays the game isn't what it used to be anymore, the only people playing are the ones that did back in the day. Good thing this was my first MMORPG and I get to keep fond memories of it :D
looking at the scene where theres assassin and knight and magician and thief really brings back good memories of old ragnarok. wish to go back in time and experience it all over again

Nowadays we normally used discord and sometimes they switch to playing different class and we can always chat together or we can before friends on Facebook and stuff. But so much memories when your party mate suddenly log out and never reappear 😟

i am an old RO player... playing for the fun of it and playing with others was what i aimed for RO but then as time progressed RO was getting more and more competetive soon it just became a game for power and BOTs.... RO was the best game i ever played
the story is all about the newbie in the game. the assassin told him that he is a ninja. the assassin gave his jur to the novice. they join together but the thief is wondering why the ninja(assassin) is so weak. after a while the thief needs to change his job to assassin and after that the newbie was shock that they are the same. the newbie tell the assassin he's job is weak because he is assassin. later he realize that the jur that the assassin gave to him is very strong weapon.
well, at first time playing this game im looking to be strong, higher level, greater equipments and all. but as i got into higher lvl, PVP, WOE, MVP i noticed the best part in this game isnt to be the strongest, the best,richest. Its how you make friends, having fun jokes with them, meeting irl, knowing their personalities and all. its fine to quit playing because there are things that's more important irl that you might need to prioritize, but your friendship with your friends what's matters

Yes, assassin is indeed a weak class. His mdef, his hit. Such a nice target to kill. But once we know the secrets, we can make it powerful. What's beautiful from this story, the assassin just teach the basic rules, what you can do and what you can't do--the simple things people often forget. No BOT, no hacks. If you assume it as 'real world', what this assassin taught to the novice is really meaningful. Whoaa.. I always got teary if I try to relate it to real world T.T lol, mellow? XD

This game doesn't hold your hand, so you have to rely on others to help you. You could make friends, discover stuff together and actually go on adventures.
