Then the last one, in December, was to repair the damage from the one in March. I already had the hip replacement 10 years ago but it was with the recalled implements. Yea, fun times....NOT I hope you have a speedy recovery. Sounds like you are well on your way.

I definitely want to get a drone but have to keep in mind they are not welcome at a lot of places and, as an IFR rated FAA licensed private pilot, I don't want to run into someone's.

Love your videos. They inspire me to get outside and hike and/or camp. I hope this will be it for the hip surgery. I've had surgeries as well as chemo treatments and I've gotten so antsy sitting around. And we know how healing nature is.

Saturday I leave (driving) Orlando for a road trip on at least 2 weeks going thru RMNP, Arches NP, Mesa Verde, Monument Valley, Zion NP and then who knows where on the return trip. Thinking of moving to Grand Junction or maybe Cheyenne or somewhere out there. (just retired). Your videos have been priceless to me. Thanks Randall. We're planning on moving out to Grand Junction hopefully next summer, so maybe we'll see you there. Cheyenne is too cold for me! As for suggestions, I don't have any in particular. That trip will be great no matter what you see. I'm sure you've done lots of research on those areas, so just enjoy! And don't stress out about seeing everything. You can always go back and see more later.

LOL. Have been on crutches before. Found a wheeled office chair gave me a great deal of freedom around the house, and that was with carpeted floors. You can scoot it right up to tables and counters and stand easier than with crutches. Oh, and you also get to use that nifty electric cart in the grocery stores. Rrrrrmmm. (You will still need the crutches to knock things off the tops shelves, but what the hey. :-)
Sorry to see you laid up. I’m sure it will work out well for you. A friend of mine much older, had double hip replacement and it was like magic. He was able to get around comfortably with no discomfort after surgery. Love your videos, look forward to more!

Yep, that's exactly where I was! I have 8 or 9 magnets that I got made up to see if people are interested, and they'll be in the store by the end of this upcoming week. They're basically the same size and shape as the stickers, just in magnet form.
I had bilateral hip resurfacing in 2011. Amazing results. Hiked half dome in 2012...9 miles each way. Play tennis, mt. bike and hike every week. Like being 20 again.

I think there was one event that cause the labrums on both hips to tear when they did (I was doing some physical therapy for my knees), but it would have happened sooner or later regardless. Thanks Jeffrey.
Nope, it's on the list, though. I've traveled a fair amount in western Oregon and eastern Oregon, but I haven't done much in the center where the John Day units are.

LOL. Have been on crutches before. Found a wheeled office chair gave me a great deal of freedom around the house, and that was with carpeted floors. You can scoot it right up to tables and counters and stand easier than with crutches. Oh, and you also get to use that nifty electric cart in the grocery stores. Rrrrrmmm. (You will still need the crutches to knock things off the tops shelves, but what the hey. :-)
Sorry to see you laid up. I’m sure it will work out well for you. A friend of mine much older, had double hip replacement and it was like magic. He was able to get around comfortably with no discomfort after surgery. Love your videos, look forward to more!

Yep, that's exactly where I was! I have 8 or 9 magnets that I got made up to see if people are interested, and they'll be in the store by the end of this upcoming week. They're basically the same size and shape as the stickers, just in magnet form.

I had bilateral hip resurfacing in 2011. Amazing results. Hiked half dome in 2012...9 miles each way. Play tennis, mt. bike and hike every week. Like being 20 again.

Have you thought about adding the kayak on your SUV logo? I think it would be awesome and I would definitely be interested in something like that (I travel w/kayak on my Jeep GC)

I think there was one event that cause the labrums on both hips to tear when they did (I was doing some physical therapy for my knees), but it would have happened sooner or later regardless. Thanks Jeffrey.

Have you ever been to the John day fossil beds in Oregon there are 3 different units.
Nope, it's on the list, though. I've traveled a fair amount in western Oregon and eastern Oregon, but I haven't done much in the center where the John Day units are.
