Hey Good question. For that kind of usage, I would say Huawei T3 8 tab. First of all it's on more up to date android system (albeit a 2-year old one), which allows usage of two apps at the same time, rather than just one. On top of that You get a better screen, with more vibrant colours (IPS rather than E 9.6 TFT). Then You get more RAM on Huawei as well (2GB on 16GB model, and 3GB on 32GB model, as opposed to 1.5GB on Samsung with 16GB storage), and a slightly faster processor. However Samsung has some advatages as well. Bigger battery and expandable memory. Personally I would go with Huawei.

If on the go (bus, train, plane, workplace) it's perfect. 8" is an amazing sweet spot between 9.7/10" and 7". However if it's to be mainly used for couch/sofa watching/reading I'd say go for 10" option.

And I loathe Apple like crazy..... Everything is a rip off when it comes to that company. I wanted a tablet big enough and beefy enough to suit my needs. Downloaded a demanding graphically new game and was shocked to have no lag at all. Getting a case for it soon. I was worried that the screen won't be big enough but to my surprise it seems bigger than it is. There are however some strange settings about call receiving and making.... Hi! I have a huawei honor x2 7 inch, and i buy on aliexpress. After 7 months the table still impressive, very quickly and much good for use. The quality is very impressive, remember a samsung tablet (the good models).
+PeeHooo The whole device feels very solid, due to the case being made of anodised aluminium, it's that's the same material Apple is using on iPad Air, Apple iPhone 5/6/6s. Screen is not gorilla glass, and I can't find any information about it being resistant to scratched, however from day to day use I can say it's alright.

+Stefan Lowe Yes, but only the ones devs allow to (which is most of the apps anyway). Some files still need to stay on internal memory but I never had any memory issues.

+Stefan Lowe Unfortunately upon installation, WhatsApp automatically creates certain directories in your internal SD, for it's data. This is where it saves the media you send and receive, and the conversation backups that you might need later. Currently, WhatsApp provides no option for users to change the directory where photos and other media are stored. The only option for you, in this case would be to manually copy the media to your SD card.

Yes it does on the site you will see the slot ,, insert a pin into the little hole and it pops out for a sim card and memory card too :) hope that helps
+Rafat Hassan One would think Lenovo is faster, because it has Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB of RAM however it has nearly Full HD resolution of 1920x1200, where Huawei T3 has slower Snapdragon 425, 3GB of RAM but the processor doesn't have to push for full HD as it's only an HD screen with 1280x800 resolution so they bight be in par actually. Sadly I don't have access to Lenovo Tab 4 but I'll see what I can do.

No i don't think so, and i don't think it can handle it anyway performance is moderate imo, it's good enough for twitter and basic stuff but can't handle heavier tasks, i only bought it to read ebooks and it's very good for that
You don't need that annoying "music" in the background. That's not music. It's just noise. A soundbite to take up space. totally unneeded.

This tablet is still running perfectly for basic tasks. Way better than the Samsung Galaxy tab a7 lite that I purchased for my wife.

I'm not sure whether to get the t3 8 inch or the 10 inch. The 10 inch is cheaper but heavier and i think has a worse battery life. Any suggestions?

I'd suggest 8 inch then, 7 might not be the biggest in terms of size and 8 is just a sweet. 10 inch would make sense for video/picture editing.
