Yay! I made the video! I think the reason construction on Flash is taking so long is because all the attention is being focused on Savannah Sunset because they’re accepting reservations. So that HAS to get done. Once that wraps up we should see more progress.
SFNE local here. Glad to hear Medusa is running well, it's the only thing I've never ridden at GA due to closings and maintenance. Love your park, I'll be down there in June. Thanks for posting and have a great season!
Six flags parks have come to the point over the last 5 or so years that there is little point in going before June b/c nothing is done/open, not even basic stuff that should be done. New rides/coasters you're looking at mid July or early August.
Sounds like a classic six flags coaster opening. Missed full throttle & renovated mind Bender for a six park opening their coaster delayed also lol Thanks for your updates!
That repaint definitely looks better but it should be themed to like Gotham so it fits in the area. Dream street just keeps getting better and better. I like what they did with the center and noticed a new direction sign next to the orange tent. As for flash I would’ve hoped they went vertical by now.
TECHNICALLY that area is a movie area so the food area there is meant to represent a western movie set. Though I do think it should be a true Gotham area at this point.
No way Flash, Big Wheel and Flume are all complete and open by July 4th. If Big Wheel is done by then we'll be lucky, maybe Flume too but all three not a chance. Knowing GA Flash will be our new for 2025 ride.
Six Flags has no desire to open rides in a reasonable time frame. They have a long held corporate strategy of thinking that when they have school groups in May/June or general early season or early summer visitors, that if they see a ride under construction they will come for another visit...ie...day visitors will upgrade to a pass so they can come back when they finish the ride in late July or August. Every SF park has snail like construction & it's been this way for almost a decade, it's not coincidence, it's a corporate strategy. Over Georgia's coaster has done little, just a plot of dirt, GAdv should have been at the stage they are at now 3 months ago. Great America is only building a giant discovery & it's not even vertical. In contrast, Cedar Fair already has Iron Menace ready for opening day 4/27 with full theming done(did a media day last week). King Island did test runs on their new Vekoma coaster last week, Knotts has finished track work on their fmaily coaster, Cedar Point will be ready with TT2 for opening day, doing testing for weeks, & are just finishing theming.
I feel like I know the whole playlist just from watching these videos. Whoever programmed the playlist seems to love Daughtry and Paramore, because I hear their songs in every video.
It’s likely that the ride just needs some adjustments from the manufacturer, RMC, as other models of this coaster are also closed. Nothing too unusual, as this does happen from time to time
Hoping the merger will get six flags to open rides for opening day or at least by Memorial Day. Not a great adventure issue it’s typical six flags. Cedar fair is better at getting rides open. For the parks 50th they took on a lot maybe a little too much? Saying all that great adventure is a great park playing on going next season
It takes a certain amount of time to plan, design, and build a new coaster. I think Cedar Fair simply starts the process earlier, and sticks to a reasonable timeline. I noticed if they are taking out a coaster to put a new one in, there's usually a year gap between the old ride closing and the new one opening. For example, Firehawk closed in 2018 and Orion opened in 2020. Six Flags always tries to complete projects on a super aggressive schedule, often adding the projects last-minute, so they always run into massive boondoggles. The merged company should really be using the Cedar Fair approach, because it sucks to overpromise and underdeliver.

One has nothing to do with the other
Fair assessment, though I don’t know that the crews between the two projects overlap, so in theory, both should be moving along quickly
I went on the Safari twice. The guides couldn't stop talking about sunset resort.

Best of the west was always my go to as a kid! It’ll be awesome once the flume opens, that’s just adds another element to the restaurant
El toro’s crew really sets the standard for fast dispatches. The entire team over there move really fast.
I also went to Best of the West on Saturday. The best of the West Burger was great!
Great video I miss my park I worked there in 06 n it's great to see my section of Medusa and log flume get revamped ❤😊

Haven’t been there since before Covid. Looks almost like a ghost town in some spots… used to be crowds of familys coming in. I miss it so much! ❤

@@CoasterBall18 oh I’m aware and it fit in better back in the day but now it’s out of place.
Flash will probably open end of July or beginning of August
Happy to see the horse is not in hiding anymore!
I was in line for Zumanjaro when the second gondola got stuck. Didn’t quite catch you but did get my one ride on it too
I saw it. I was on the el toro queue everyone was looking at it
I'm surprised they haven't been able to fix that issue it has been a common problem where that gondola gets stuck. Saw it happen a year ago
I can’t wait to see everything when I go this friday
I was told to let you know they are high reaches not cranes around log flume 😉
Thank you for the correction!
@@ColiwoodStudios you got it, just trying to help out.
How is flash not vertical yet? :(

We need to see Ace riding the horse fr

Do they want Flash to open late
As long as flash is open by fright fest / holiday in the park I’m happy. I just need the cred
One train and fright fest crowds, 3 hour waits.
I must have heard that Jordin sparks a million times now. They need to UPDATE the playlist, also I’m sure flash will be ready to go by fright fest!
I love the Great Adventure playlist!
@@ColiwoodStudios me too but it’s the 50th!! Cmon! Add some new stuff!

I was there pretty bummed about nitro being down but it was fun
Worried about Jersey Devil.....wonder if it is going to be down for a long extended period of time
Any ideas regarding Jersey Devil’s closure? A friend said his ride a couple weeks ago was super rough. Do we think it’s a serious problem?
It’s likely that the ride just needs some adjustments from the manufacturer, RMC, as other models of this coaster are also closed. Nothing too unusual, as this does happen from time to time
Magic Mountain Wears The Crown😏👑Let's Not Forget😤😤
I saw you there
Cyborg is still closed?! I really want to ride it
It’s closed until flash opens
Were you at Great Adventure on opening weekend in 2014?
I have no idea, that was quite awhile ago haha!
I was there yesterday

I was there yesterday someone gave me a bunch of coins in the arcade
The flash is vertical 4/25/24
I heard! Looking to get coverage of that as soon as possible!
can someone settle a disagreement: are medusa's supports brown or orange??
Orange!
