This is fabulous. Beautiful area, the essence of St. Louis.- beautiful homes. Start in Shaw, go through Compton Heights and Fox Park. That's a great path.
It's a pretty old building. I been in it a couple times in 2015. The inside wasn't change much from The 30's or The 40's. I'm not sure when it was built. 🤔
I don't know if it's still called, "The Saum" but I used to stay there about 6yrs ago. And I was shocked to see that Library Museum in that condition. 😮
It caught fire in 2019. Some manuscripts were saved but other than that, it's a total loss. It will most likely sit there and rot for the next 20 years
@@jacketmannmarvin5186 the future of that building relies on an investor and it would require an outrageous amount of money to restore. I’d hate to be so cynical but a miracle is always possible.

I was also surprised by the Museum condition. I always thought it was open. 😮
