hi poko traveler you are a great example of someone who can navigate the bus and light rail trains people sometimes are afraid to take public transit but they can learn from you that a little planning goes a long way
Thank god for phones, though, lol, they make the planning so much easier that Google Maps can tell you the quickest route no matter what mode of transportation you're taking.
Thanks, I try to make them real! But if at all possible, I still try to have an optimistic viewpoint / lens, because my goal is never to tear down a city or area.
Hey Poko , thanks for the St Louis stroll . We're wondering if you'll compare bus rides to Clevelands busses and their train rides , compared to Clevelands Rapid Transit ? Enjoyed the show !
As you may have seen already, I ended my St. Louis videos with a train ride to the airport. I think a big difference is that I pretty much think of Cleveland as having one train stop (Tower City) in our Downtown, but St. Louis has like 6 stops within the Downtown area. Other than that, the busses and such were pretty similar.
It is a shame that so much historical information was missed because it was apparent that no preparation or research was on on the area. If you are traveling, it is well worth a visit, check out other tours for some great historical information, especially if you are a soccer fan or World cup fan.
It's nice when viewers are able to help provide history and context. My videos, especially when visiting a new city, are trying to show the city from the eyes of a visitor/explorer.
