Let’s Setup a Switch to Run DCS or Conventional on my Layout

Hi folks, welcome to MTS. Today we are doing a proof of concept. I want to have the option to be able to run some of my MTH Proto 3 locomotives in DCS or conventional modes. But, I didn’t want the more expensive MTH DCS and power management system. Enter the DCS Remote Commander.
I will go through the wiring process to make this work. Also l cover how I mounted the switches to a formed piece of acrylic the I was able to get from Amazon. Hope you enjoy the video. Thanks for watching and I’ll see you down the line!
