Wow i have heard this song in so long. Definitaly added it to my favorites list...which is almost identical to yours, just add Somebody else and we're good
Sleepy LimaBean the members of the 1975 have been together for over ten years, and in those years, they went through a few name changes before settling on the 1975. They've been known as Drive Like I Do, Big Sleep, etc. They also went through genre changes as well during the years, and when fans talk about their favorite eras, they're talking about what sound they like best out of all the ones the band has had. So if someone says "my favorite is the Drive Like I Do era," that means they most like the songs the band had under the name Drive Like I Do. Hopefully I could help!
Saw them live for the first time two days ago (hopefully the first of many), and my first thought when they walked out on stage and everyone was yelling and screaming was how must it feel to start out playing stuff like this as a school hobby and then end up on stage in front of thousands of people. It sucks that I haven't known them throughout the entirety of their being together and playing music, but I am so glad I have the chance to know them now.
ik this was 4 years ago but yeah man that feeling of standing in front of thousands from something especially that you thought would never take off or get popular must be amazing
Idk if you'll read this since your comment is years old, but I feel the same way. I started listening to them in 2013, just months after they released Self Titled, and became a huge fan. I found their DLID in 2014. Unfortunately I didn't get to see The 1975 until last year, and again this year, and it's wild to look back at them a decade ago and compare them to now. I saw a few DLID shirts at their ATVB in San Francisco last year but none at SATVB in Sacramento last week. Hell, the guy standing next to me at Sac didn't know the band was British. It makes me wonder what new fans would think of the boys pre-The 1975. Would they like them?
If they got millions of views, then it'd have been taken down a looong time ago lol. I like these rare little gems though, and I hope they remain a little secret that new fans can take interest in exploring :)
~lyrics~ one wish (x8) just one more minute till your getting older well i can’t save you one wish one wish one wish one wish just one more minute till your getting older well i can’t save you
this sounds like it would be in skins, I mean people say alot of their music should be but this is totally different. like, in that morning scene where they were all at the beach camping
+Fides Crosberger sounds like theyre mostly saying "one wish" and "one moment till you get to the..." and something about "well i can save you" but thats all i got lmao

Ojalá se pudiera detener el tiempo para disfrutar de ellos...una y otra y otra vez...
this is so beautiful and it makes me sad bc they have grown older since then and omg I love them just so much
Well the only alternative to getting older is death and I imagine you would be sadder if they were dead eh
@@joeytribiani9779 yeah ofc it's just about this melancholic feeling of hoe time passes and how we all get older
the start of the journey

+Its Lyla It sounds like "one moment till you get to the border'
+Its Lyla I thought the lyric was "I couldn't save you" but I'm not certain
+Tom Saxby I think they're saying "one MORE wish" each time rather than just "one wish" just adding !!!!!!
