Barbara Walters (b.1929) is an American retired broadcast journalist, author, and television personality. Known for her interviewing ability and popularity with viewers, Walters appeared as the host of numerous television programs, including Today, The View, 20/20, and the ABC Evening News. Walters was a working journalist from 1952 until 2015. Walters began her career on The Today Show in the early 1960s as a writer and segment producer of women's interest stories. Her popularity with viewers resulted in Walters receiving more airtime, and in 1974, she became co-host of the program, the first woman to hold such a title on an American news program. In 1976, she continued to be a pioneer for women in broadcasting by becoming the first female co-anchor of a network evening news program, alongside Harry Reasoner on the ABC Evening News. From 1979 to 2004, Walters worked as a producer and co-host on the ABC newsmagazine 20/20. She also became known for an annual special aired on ABC, Barbara Walters' 10 Most Fascinating People. Walters created, produced, and co-hosted the ABC daytime talk show The View in 1997, on which she appeared until her retirement in 2014. Thereafter, she continued to host a number of special reports for 20/20 as well as documentary series for Investigation Discovery. Her final on-air appearance for ABC News was in 2015. Walters was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame in 1989, and in 2007 received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2000, she received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Michael Lomonaco (b.1955) is an American chef, restaurateur, and television personality. He is best known as the chef/director for Windows on the World, the restaurant located atop the North Tower of the World Trade Center. The restaurant was destroyed in the September 11th attacks, and all of the staff members who were working in the restaurant at the time of the attack died. Lomonaco survived because he was in the tower's lobby during the attacks and was then evacuated from the building. He has rebounded with the opening of Porter House New York, which was named by Esquire magazine one of America's Best New Restaurants in October 2006.
Tom Snyder (1936 -2007) was an American television personality, news anchor, and radio personality best known for his late night talk shows Tomorrow, on the NBC television network in the 1970s and 1980s, and The Late Late Show, on the CBS Television Network in the 1990s. The Late Late Show with Tom Snyder aired live in the Eastern and Central Time Zones, and was simulcast to other time zones on radio to allow everyone a chance to call in.

When I ate at Windows I was seated where I could look over at the South Tower I worked in. I miss them so much. Not the same without them. In watching videos of the Twin Towers I see comments from many people who want them back. I'm one of them. I'd love to know what it was like working at Windows on the World. It was the #1 restaurant in America. A wonderful 2024 to you. Love to you

Michael Lomonaco came VERY close to being killed on September 11th. He went to get his glasses fixed that day and was going to Windows on the World soon after. Flight 11 hit perhaps maybe 10 minutes (not sure of exactly how long) before Lomonaco would’ve arrived at Windows on the World.

There were 170 people in the restaurant on 9/11, 72 of them were members of staff at Windows On The World. All of them sadly died. The staff bonded and saw themselves as close as family, they were from so many countries from around the planet and they bonded of their love of working there. There wasn't a particularly high staff turnover so the chances of people in this video being killed in the attack 3 years later is high.
