Budva 2024 Montenegro, Like You've Never Seen It - Must Watch

Budva is one of the oldest cities on the Adriatic Sea, it is even 2500 years old. Due to its favorable geographical location, the Budva Riviera is the center of Montenegrin tourism. Venetian walls from the 15th century surround Budva's Old Town. The old town was badly damaged in the devastating earthquake of 1979, but was completely restored. Bečići tourist center is located near Budva. There are four main churches in Stari Grad. The first is St. John's, which was built in the 7th century and was a cathedral until the abolition of the Budva diocese, the second is the Church of the Virgin Mary which dates from 840, the third, the Holy Trinity, which was built in 1804 and the fourth Saint Sava the Sanctified. The Venetian walls of the Old Town are an interesting tourist attraction.
What makes Budva the most attractive tourist destination is the combination of differences and contrasts in one place. Fun, rest, nightlife, relaxation, historical curiosities and beautiful sandy beaches are the main representative of the Budva municipality, which brings more and more tourists every year.
Mogren Beach, close to the Old Town, is one of the most prestigious beaches on the southern Adriatic due to its fine sand, clean sea and seclusion. It consists of two beaches connected by a tunnel. There are a large number of beautiful beaches in the immediate vicinity, some of which we will visit are: Mogren, Kamenovo, Kraljičina beach, Slovenska beach, Bečići beach, Ričardova glava and others.
Budva is the administrative center of the municipality of Budva, which includes the settlements of Bečići and Petrovac.

Budva je jedan od najstarijih gradova na Jadranskom moru, stara je čak 2500 godina. Zbog povoljnog geografskog položaja budvanska rivijera je centar crnogorskog turizma. Mletačke zidine iz 15.veka okružu budvanski Stari grad. Stari grad je bio teško oštećen u razornom zemljotresu 1979. godine, ali je potpuno obnovljen. U blizini Budve nalazi se turistički centar Bečići. Postoje četiri osnovne crkve u Starom Gradu. Prva je Svetog Ivana, koja je sagrađena u 7. vijeku i sve do ukidanja Budvanske biskupije bila je katedrala, druga Bogorodičina crkva (Santa Maria in Punta) koja datira iz 840., treća, Svete Trojice, koja je sagrađena 1804. godine i četvrta Svetog Save Osvećenoga. Venecijanski zidovi Starog Grada su zanimljiva turistička atrakcija.
Ono što Budvu čini najatraktivnijom turističkom destinacijom jeste spoj različitosti i kontrasta na jednom mestu. Zabava, odmor, noćni provod, relaksacija, istorijski kurioziteti i prelepe peščane plaže su glavni reprezent budvanske opštine, što svake godine dovodi sve više turista.
Plaža Mogren, nadomak Starog grada, zbog finog peska, čistog mora i skrovitosti, jedna je od prestižnijih plaža na južnom Jadranu. Čine je dve plaže povezane tunelom. U neposrednoj blizini je veliki broj prelepih plaža a neke od njih koje ćemo posetiti su: Mogren, Kamenovo, Kraljičina plaža, Slovenska plaža, Bečićka plaža, Ričardova glava i ostale.
