I love how armada is quite a bit stronger than cortex just because of the tick, but that it is insanely micro intensive. That's a nice way to make both factions competitive against each other.
i mean ticks can slow expansion down but how much it also depends on you. This game it looks like he was basically not expanding to not loose anything but i see games of BARcast on Yt where he makes the tick player look like an idiot for trying to go for them. Also that is a terrible way to ballance a game. Whenever in a game there is a faction that has some advantages but is requires good decision making, or good positioning, or good micro so its ballance it is only a matter of time before that faction becomes a faction with a lot of upsides and no downsides.
@@SSR2902 I'd argue it's actually better this way, even from a design stand point. Cortex is generally stronger/ the brute force option and armada only comes on top when it can harness it's specific tactical advantages.
1v1, small team, large team, and ffa OS are all separate values that change independently of each other. I've played maybe a few dozen 1v1 games my entire BAR playtime so the number reflects that lol
I dont watch for the commentary or the games, but just to see the wind troll ldm relentlessly
