I have yet to fully start my journey, but I am working towards a similar lifestyle. Watching this video motivates me to reach my milestone so that I too can break away from being a 9-5 tech girly. What a nice moment with your Dad! Relocating is difficult, I moved to another country where I only knew my husband so I get it. What helps is getting out and going to coffee shops (say hi to people who are regulars and look like they would be interesting to get to know), volunteering, meet-up groups, etc.

I use the rosehip oil by trilogy, skip toner and use aloe vera gel instead (probably a bad idea lol…), and moisturize with laneige. I don’t use a serum atm. It doesn’t matter how expensive the product is. What matters more is sticking to a routine and not skipping skincare in the AM/PM. Hope this helps:)

Be careful with staying up super late as a regular habit, it really messed with my structure and routines for the day from work to meal times and feeling refreshed when waking up. Over time it really took a toll on me being self employed.

Are you sure about the 1500€ per month for Berlin? There are flats for about 500€-800€ per month but every single one of them has thousands of applicants and as a self-employed foreigner your chances of getting one of them are close to zero.

Why isn't it clearly defined how to jump onto the algorithm train? Why do you have to guess? Doesn't google want everyone to succeed? Isn't that what an employer does, because in the end, that benefits them too.
I don’t know if there’s one answer for “how to jump on the algorithm train”, and for me that’s the fun of it. I love figuring out the “product market fit” for each video, and for my overall brand. It’s so exhilarating to study other creators’ videos and figure out what worked for them, try different strategies, and find ones that work for my channel. I used to feel used and resent corporate (or Google if we are talking about RUclips) for reaping the fruits of my labor, but there is no “perfect job” - not even RUclips. All I want to do is live a happy, meaningful life and share it with people, and I’m very grateful to be able to do that...at least for now!
