Klymaxx was a funky all female band in the 80's. A lot of times we called them the female version of Morris Day and the Time. You have to definitely check out their songs, "The Men All Pause", Meeting in the Ladies Room" and "Diva's Need Love Too"

So much of 70's and 80's R&B was so good. I miss those days and that music. I could go from Country to Hard Rock to R&B to New Wave/Dance Music to Soft Rock interchangeably, and it all sounded good.

Yes ma'am, all-girl band!!! I love Klymaxx, my dad had an extensive vinyl collection which included some of their stuff. I was jamming to a lot of that music as a 90s kid. Check out KING ("Supernatural," "The Greatest") and St. Beauty ("Going Nowhere," "Borders") too.

It's very interesting, all these songs that you react to are so familiar to me and I'm from Brazil. My parents used to listen to them, so my brothers and I keep this custom of listening to these 80's hits. I'm so grateful to them because these songs helped me a lot in learning English. By the way the voice of the lead singer sounds so similar to the Michael Jackson's to me. Anyway, keep doing this good job, shout out from Brazil and God bless you.

Joyce Fenderella Irby is the lead, very beautiful voice. The other leads are Bernadette Cooper and Lorena "Lungs" Shelby. They were around since 1978 and were two other girls. Girls Will be Girls 1982 their first hit.
