It's hard to find good videos that show in a simply documentary way the extraordinary historical sites you're showing us. Most of them are clearly for tourists, or just talk nonsense. You're doing a great job. Thank you 🙏
Much obliged~😄You know, at first, I was worried that audiences would find such historical content too boring. I am more than happy to get such positive feedback, I really appreciate it.😃
regardless of who was buried in that mausoleum, to rob and desecrate a grave is a heinous sin and very, very disrespectful. I hope that army's commander who robbed the tomb never rest in peace.
I enjoyed your documentary. I learned new things. That should be the goal of a documentary, for viewers to learn. I look forward to more videos from you..
Truly fascinating, easy to follow and understand. It’s also good to see that the site is being preserved. We were taught about Ci-xi as children in school in the 1970’s and of course we watched the amusing rendition of her in the famous Margret Rutherford film on the boxer rebellion.
She pretty much imperiled China against Western industrialization. Instead of spending government funds on modernizing China, she spent it building a lavish summer palace and other things for herself.
Thank you for these very interesting videos on Chinese history. As for the looting of the Qing tombs, could you please cover Kangxi's tomb? I had read that when Sun Dianying's men used explosives on that tomb, underground water came pouring out which frightened them into not proceeding further. However, subsequently his tomb was robbed by others at a later time.
It seems so. Sun Dianying's army failed to enter Kangxi's underground palace. Nearly 20 years later, bandits looted the Kangxi Mausoleum and almost all the other tombs here except Shunzhi's. The Kangxi Mausoleum is not open to tourists right now, and it is said that the underground palace seems to be filled with water.
I have been there 3 times, it is an amazing place. xie xei xiao wang. It is rumoured that he black pearl that was in Cixi's mouth ended up on the shoe of Madam Chiang ai Shek.

It depends. A lot of wealth was locked up inside there, completely useless.
@@ogukuo97 not in their beliefs.
@ Interesting. What are Chinese or Manchu beliefs in this respect?
Nahh those stuff was country’s money. Spent so lavishly and unintelligently by that social climber Empress Dowager Cixi

So very interesting - Thank You for doing this - Despite her many failings, The Dowager Empress was a remarkable woman....
Nice history🇲🇨😍🙏

My pleasure~ 😁That is indeed a very famous rumor, and most people think it is probably true, although it is difficult to confirm.😂
Nice Musik!
I'd love to see the forbidden city.
Who is the best tomb rider? The Army of the People's Republic of China.
After the deaths of those who had done the grave robbery, where her items ever returned?
Who was before cixi
very sad
