Jisoos seen with Umbrella in Dududu was raining and dangerous, in this video it was raining money for her and it was safe. Jenny tank was upgraded and had extra Headlights and gadgets on it. The music video for ‘Shut Down’ is pretty much an homage to their past work. Also hints at how much they have grown and improved over the years, Like in Boomayah they was riding scooters with the pink background going by and in this video they all riding in a luxury car with same background. Jisoos seen with Umbrella in Dududu was raining and dangerous, in this video it was raining money for her and it was safe. Jenny tank was upgraded and had extra Headlights and gadgets on it. Lisa's had a garbage truck in Boombyyah and in this video she has leather bags filled with money and even her boots were upgraded lol. Also Rose was laying on floor crying in her green fur Gone. in this video she is dancing in her green Fur. Then later sitting on top of the Black and Pink world signifying there global popularity. There were also lots of signs with the names of there solo projects like Lalisa and Gone througout the video, i wonder if Jisoos solo is hidden in there someplace. Im sure there are a ton more easter eggs that have yet to be found. Also i got that they are shutting down the past and at the end take the elevator up to new and better things.

Shut Down - the white garage is full of all their sets basically. So they are showing the ones that got them so successful and their journey as Blackpink. They start to shut them all down with shutters. They upgrade their car and showing the worlds a better and improved version of themselves. They go into the elevator into an upper floor which is their new era and journey which is yet to be filled in.

Yeah I think most of blackpink songs talks about love or haters but when it comes to the haters part, I love it every time they diss them on their tracks and even more satisfying when they shut them down through their music. But it's true you'll very much appreciate the fire that this music video brings when you actually listen and watch all of their previous songs and even observe what the haters and media keep on talking about BP. They are korean-Americans and they explain the lyrics and the MV in minutest detail. they explaining why they do that with the older MVs and why they "shut it down". it has nothing to do with a farewell. its rathet the opposite. the reaction is really great because they also explain really complex korean wordplays you cant get from the mere english subtitles. they put SO much wordplays into this(like jisoos lines are more complex than you think).
