Those haven’t moved in 2 years and they aren’t going to move anywhere. But I agree, when making a new stepping stone walkway, a base is always best. Thanks for the compliment on our work and our good vibes 😎 lol
Thanks Gordon, and great question. I’m my experience, the heat from the lighter color rocks is no greater than the heat from the dark dyed brown mulch on most of my properties. I do not anticipate any harmful effects on these plants from the heat since they are large and mature. Now, that’s not always the case…. Delicate Baby plants may suffer some in long term direct sunshine using stone or mulch. Remember that the true health of plants come from the roots, always try your best to plant when the season gives ample time for the roots to mature… before the HEAT HITS 😎👍💪
Yep, I mentioned it…. They will probably get me a free ton… they are good guys, but I was definitely frustrated that day. Thanks for your support Eddie 💪✌️😎
I do like the color scheme too. I know this was a huge back breaking job and fighting through that mud wasn't fun. Hopefully you have enough, but man that sure does look good brother.

At least it’s not 98* out and dripping with sweat…. Right?!! Sometimes COLD IS GOOD 🥶
Randall , looks great man. I'm curious , will the sun heating up the stone have any affect on the beds .

That stone is way to expensive for them to give you a scoop of crumbs! I would’ve definitely addressed it with supply company! Great job!
