- Hi everyone welcome back,
A very exciting video of the new 737 that Buffalo Airways Departing Bournemouth
Great to meet Dave Steph the pilots and all the engineers who have put so much work into the aircraft.
I had a problem with my camera on the take off hence the focus wasn’t great! Of all times to play up ay! But I managed to salvage it as much as I could before it disappeared into the grey skies of Bournemouth.
Mikey & the Buffalo team will be super happy with this.
The Aircraft is an ex Swiftair Boeing 737-301(BDSF)
Age - 36 years old
Reg - 2-ESKA

I have no idea why I am so interested in this flight. Loved the show many years ago and excited to see Mikey doing well in the business. His Dad, Buffalo Joe, must be just so proud of him. He really has taken over the family business and I cannot wait to see this company expand even more. Its such a Canadian thing I can see them branching out maybe one day to cities all over Canada.
Let’s hope so! This is a huge step forward for them 🙏 it’s great to see
You should watch mikey and a team of volunteers rescue a rotting dc3 on his Hanney called it planesavers..
A year of prep and in 60 days they got a vandalised rotting bird back in the sky with help of his uncle ronnie

You know, in some ways we all fly for Buffalo Airways. I think the reaction and enthusiasm re this 737 coming on strength speaks to that.

Thanks for sharing this historic event for Mikey, Buffalo Airways, and us patriotic Canadian fans of Buffalo Airways! This is the right move for Buffalo Airways to keep competive in air freight industry, though my heart goes out to propeller powered aircraft and still does!

I'm not a cCanadian and have never flown with Buffalo but I have a soft spot for them. A small family run concern what's not to like?
Latest: 2ESKA is now flying over northern Manitoba at 28,000 feet and 499 mph ground speed, arriving YEG (Edmonton) in 1 hour 23 minutes

Yep, she landed here in Edmonton a few days ago, and it’s great. I love the 737-300, I’ve flown on it personally and it’s great to see Buffalo Airways start to “modernize” their fleet a little bit! (As much as I love their vintage DC-3 fleet haha)

Was in Yellowknife a few days before the arrival of the Boeing, such electric excitement around the hanger etc about its potential arrival. Would have liked to have been there a few days longer. Is chuck still around and if so what does he think of the new jet 737 ,he always complained about the prop planes , he might just be out of a job . I still watch the old tv shows and would love to see mikey and the crew in the modern version on tv with the new 737 .

The one thing that grievesme is that the original 737 was a design put forward in response to a specification BA ste out. Then when de Havilland tendered it BA turned round and said "sorry, we're not in the market for that type of aircraft. I've never had much time for BA since. Not a particularly good airline anyway.

Almost there 55 minutes before landing in Edmonton
Even though this is a cargo only aircraft I am surprised that there is no emergency slide pack attached to the forward left cabin door.
