XDefiant is a free-to-play, first-person arena shooter where you compete to be the best in fast-paced online matches.
XDefiant (formerly known as Tom Clancy's XDefiant) is an upcoming free-to-play multiplayer first-person arena shooter video game set to be released by French publisher Ubisoft. In March 2022, the game was rebranded as a part of the Ubisoft Originals brand, dropping the Tom Clancy's universe title, and is expected to feature characters from other Ubisoft franchises.
The setting of the game revolves around factions called "Defiant", Wolves (from Ghost Recon), Echelon (from Splinter Cell), and the Outcasts and Cleaners (from The Division). Defiants are customizable with traits, abilities, devices, weapons and items. It has 6-versus-6 linear game modes (such as “Domination” and “Escort”). The game has punk visual art elements.
A closed Insider test of a pre-alpha version of XDefiant occurred in North America in 2021. A second Insider test was held in February 2023. A closed beta test began in April 2023.

I wanna play this so bad, but the last couple days when I try to play I just start skipping/lagging around after like 5 min and idk what to do about it. There's no point in trying to play like that. I was enjoying it a lot while it lasted lol
Yeah one of the worst things in the beta from what I've heard is the netcode especially when it comes to dying around corners

My hdr wouldn’t turn off n I found out that it was because I ran madden in EA with hdr on. I had to go back into madden n turn settings down in order to get my other games running without hdr

i can't really enjoy the game i have like a 700 dollar pc every time i play the game the minute i start shooting someone my screen like freezes. i get like 50 fps literally cant even shoot people i just lag or stutter and the controller seems so damn stiff its like impossible to aim at people i play controller on apex so i should know how to control but to me it seems so off
